Oyster Pond Dawn Beach Hotels

"Enjoying the Caribbean is always a crap shoot, Oyster Bay at this time of year was definitely a mix of good and bad. The counter staff was horrible but the bar and cleaning crews were so great!!!! I think this was the first time I have been hung up on in years but the actual staff that did the work were amazing. Poor customer service but great service, if that makes sense. If you want to relax this is the place, if you’re looking for a little action I don’t recommend Oyster Bay at this time of year."

"Comfortable and quiet "

"Even-though the property and rooms were well maintained, unfortunately on the deck outside came a mouse on one night and a cockroach on the last night. Overall the staff was non-existent since the property was almost empty. Due to the seaweed infestation and very bad smell the property was uninhabitable outside. The beach was unswimmable. We were ones of unfortunate guest they ended up booking badly. When we called the reception to understand if this would last all week, they replied with an attitude that they can’t determine the weather. The hotel/Expedia should be warning the clients of such conditions as we have paid a lot of money to stay at this resort. We have the expectation that we would be able to sit outside and swim at a beach side resort. We should have been given the opportunity to switch to a different resort. On the last day of check out we had check out at the oyster pond resort since the villa’s reception was not open at 8:00 am. Again with an attitude the reception didn’t even ask how our stay was and not a single thank you was uttered. The entire experience was not good and I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying at either resorts. I expect some kind of refund otherwise I wouldn’t recommend anyone going to St Martin at all."

"Disappointing Stay - Beautiful View Ruined by Constant Noise We spent a week at this magnificent house with a truly superb view of the ocean. Unfortunately, our vacation was severely marred by loud construction noise from the house next door throughout the week. To make matters worse, lawn mowing started at 7:00 AM on our very last day."

"Carpe Diem was absolutely lovely. We are a family of 5 so having the 4 beds was perfect! The kitchen was fully equipped which made it easy to start and end our days comfortably at the Villa. The views-amazing, the pool- amazing, outdoor area- amazing, inside space- amazing! We truly had a great experience! "

"This property was exceptional, and had everything we needed. The views were amazing. The home owner and property manager were very attentive, their recommendations of local spots to visit and outfitters were spot on. The hot tub was out of commission for our trip (although that seems to be a hit or miss amenity with all rentals). One thing to note with this home if you have elderly or young children, the lower 2 bedrooms do not connect to the upper floor via inside the home. There is a steep outdoor side stairs you use to get to them. We had to rearrange our sleeping arrangements because of this. Over all this property did not disappoint."

"Beautiful and inviting home with amazing views! Everything as described. Would definitely recommend renting a car and exploring the entire island like we did! Easy home base once you got use to the driving! Highly recommend going to Bread and Butter each morning for breakfast, about a 10 min drive. "

The hosts Michael and Susan were amazing and so was the property manager Natesha and house cleaner Sharon. We would definitely book here again. They also provided a lovely gift basket ready for our arrival, which was very thoughtful. Great location and property! "
