We enjoyed the Midnight Sun. Well-appointed rooms within in a historic building. The lobby decorations and framed old photos and captions added to our Dawson experience. Similar sights are found in the sister property, the Downtown Hotel. Be sure to take in the Sourtoe Cocktail festivities at the Downtown Saloon.

Clean room and helpful staff! There are some staffing shortages so you might need to call/walk over to the downtown if you need assistance or your rooms refreshed. Other than a bit of a drainage issue, the blackout blinds were great and had a decent sleep! The historic interior is also cool!

The check in was a little confusing but this hotel is part of the downtown coast hotel, so that is where you check in and get your room key. It's on the street behind the hotel and the check in staff was friendly. The amenities in the room were nice, a fridge, coffee maker, and usb outlets. I definitely needed the ear plugs they provided, I was in a room directly above the bar and they had live music that night. The bar and the lobby have the same decor, it's cute and the bar staff was nice and had good restaurant recommendations.

Liked the location and old decor, charming lobby. Room #16 deadbolt didnt lock, and the toilet had trouble flushing. Luckily extra bathroom in the lobby. Cute little welcome gift and “guest of the day” signage.

It is an old building with lovely period furnishings on the main floor. The room was comfortable however didn’t have the same charm. I wish the curtains in the room were more room darkening. Visiting in June means many hours of daylight and less conducive to good sleep. I’d like the room darker Also the walls were thin and I could clearly hear conversations in the next room. Fortunately it was quiet in the evening. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

The rooms are recently renovated, clean and modern which is unique in a hotel with the history that this hotel had. The beds are comfortable and the hotel is positioned in a great spot for exploring downtown Dawson City.
