  • Newly remodeled lake house with a beautiful view of Lake Huron and 800 feet of shared private beach. The cottage is 1400 square feet with plenty of room for family fun. The cottage is located in a small community only 7 miles north of Port Sanilac and 20 minute lake front cruise to Lexington. There are two kayaks and a paddle board available for you to tour Lake Huron. Cornhole boards, gas barbecue, and bonfire pit for all your outdoor entertainment. Fully stocked kitchen, bathroom and more for your vacation comfort and ease.

Awesome time! The host was accommodating and communicative. Super clean place and just a small walk to the beach. We had a great time and plan on going back. Neighbors were great as well! Highly recommend!

Beautiful location, pet friendly and facilities ready for the dogs. Only oopsie was the couple of wasps inside the house but I took care of it Beach is literally 100 steps away! Super clean beach and very nice neighborhood. The store right in the corner has everything you need for groceries!

We enjoyed our stay here so much! It is just a short walk to Lake Huron. The whole house was perfect for us - lots of room to stretch out and unwind. The cottage is easy to get to and is close to stores in Port Sanilac and Deckerville. The weather was perfect and we made many trips to the beach during our stay. Nice and quiet area with friendly neighbors. Loved it all! Great experience. Will stay again in the future.

Location was great, beach really nice, house was well appointed and stocked with everything you would need. Easy check in and out, clean and very comfortable. Would recommend and stay again!

Fantastic stay!

We loved stones throw cottage! The house is beautiful and spacious for a family of four. We really enjoyed all of the amenities (bikes, kayaks, outdoor space.. and of course the close beach)! We’d love to return next time we’re in the area!

Didn’t want to leave!

Made last minute decision to get out of town, owner very accommodating. Loooved the house, close walk to beach, beautiful beach. Everything you could possibly need in the house. Neighbors very nice.

Great getaway!

Stones throw was a great place. The beach was awesome. We had most of it to ourselves the whole time. The cottage was equipped with a black stone and a gas grill which was nice. We can’t wait to come back! The hosts were great too!

Cottage at Lake Huron

Wonderful place to stay. Nice, quiet location. Very close to private beach on Lake Huron, we were able to walk there in a minute or two carrying provided kayaks. The house is newly updated and very nice. The best beds ever, and great water pressure! Fantastic shower, washer, dryer. Everything you need for a nice family vacation. We would rent again.

I chose this location for my bachelorette trip and I was not disappointed. The house was nicely decorated and had plenty of space to relax and hang about. The location is beautiful and the neighbors are friendly. Our check in was delayed due to issues with the lock, but the host was quick to resolve the issue, and the rest of the trip went off without a hitch. 10/10 recommend this to anyone, whether you are looking for a relaxing weekend getaway, or an extended vacation by the lake!

The property was perfect for a family of four. It was very clean and comfortable. The two AC units worked well in 90 degree heat. The house was very close to the water. It was an easy walk to the beach. Our kids and dog had a great time on the beach. This beach/water was the best I have seen on lake Huron. Very clear in calm conditions. Just bring water shoes for the rocks. The only problem was at the beach. There were a ton of flies when we were there (early July). They bite so we couldn't sit on the beach much. Once we were in the water, it was much better. Overall it was a wonderful trip.

Nice getaway!

Lots of beautiful updates in this cottage. Kitchen and bathroom are gorgeous. Very nice partially covered patio with nice outdoor furniture. The shared beach is very quiet. Our 2 labs loved swimming. Lots of nice grass areas around home for dogs to dry off. Kitchen is very well stocked. Beds comfortable. We enjoyed Blue Water Bar & Grill and Roxanne’s for breakfast.

Huron Happiness

Patrick’s place was perfect. Our family of 6 adults had plenty of space. The house was newly remodeled, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need and more. The beach, a very short walk to the corner was private and quiet. The kayaks and bikes were a nice bonus. Patrick answered all our questions quickly. Mother Nature could have given us warmer weather, but everything else was awesome

Beautiful cottage, nice neighborhood and great beach. Patrick's place was fully equipped with everything needed for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax, and a lovely outdoor patio area. The beach was just a few houses down the road and just a few steps down to the beach. Very clean and comfortable and Patrick responded very quickly anytime I needed to reach him. And the keyless entry system was a plus, I never needed to worry about having the key to the front door or losing it. I will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay! Stones throw cottage was a wonderful family vacation and if we had the opportunity, we would definitely book here again. The check in process was easy and effortless. The 2 minute walk to the beach was so convenient and perfect for the kids and dogs. The neighborhood is very friendly and inviting. The cottage is just far enough away from everything, we were not over populated with tourists and travelers. We had the beach to ourselves everyday! The house was stocked with everything we needed. WiFi worked great, I was even able to work a little.10/10 highly recommend this gem at Lake Huron!

Great Quality Beach Rental

A family of 7 (including one baby and one young child) stayed here and it was a great space. Quality cooking utensils and a surprisingly well stocked spices. Lots of towels as well for shower and beach use. Feels recently renovated and it looks great-- feels like the owners also genuinely use the space, not just a soulless bed and breakfast with throwaway supplies. It is steps away from the beach and comes with lots of watersports stuff. It is a very QUIET neighborhood at night, great for families and older couples. Don't expect party town. Thanks for letting us stay!

Great little cottage steps away from Lake Huron!

We were so pleasantly surprised with this last minute booking. Not only was the house updated and clean, you could tell that the owner placed a lot of thought into the layout; we had no problem fitting our multigenerational family in this space, whether it was hanging out in the bonus room, eating at the kitchen island or hanging out on the patio. Best kept secret: access to Lake Huron just steps away (about 4 houses down) to a private non busy beach. Water was clear and my kids (6 and under) had a blast. Overall 5/5 would stay here again. Just a short drive into Lexington or Port Sanilac and about an hour from Port Huron. A great time was had by all!
