“I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. The two buildings are beautiful with a pretty outside bar and breakfast room with an excellent breakfast. Staff were all lovely but particularly at breakfast. The area is great with bars and restaurants all an easy walk, as well as the coast path on your doorstep. Our room was enormous with interesting antiques, a stunning bathroom and an incredible small terrace with sea view. I wish we were returning here rather than staying in Miraflores on the return……

“ ⸻ It was really filthy. The sheets were completely yellow, and there were blue stains on the blanket—possibly toothpaste, but I’m not sure. The towels and bath towels had visible stains, and there was dust accumulated for years behind the headboard and deep in the corners of the floor. You could hear every single word from the room next door. It’s in a great location, and the building has a long history with many antique collections. But this is not a hotel—if you know what I mean. It feels……
