「Clean, well appointed rooms with an amazing view of the ocean. The owners are very considerate of traveller’s, with the amenities offered in the home. The Kitchen is stocked with quality items. A very pleasurable stay!」

「We would have preferred to be closer to town but the drive wasn't too far. Place was spotless, kitchen well equipped. Setting very pretty on the water but our weather did not allow us to enjoy it fully. Lots of birds to watch, deer, even a fox walked by.」

「We liked very much our stay at Wilson's Coastal Club! The cottage was better than the description, everything was well organised and explained. Bring looneys if you need to use the dryer! And there is also a little private beach and a trail on the other side of the street (part of the program Rails to Trails). We regretted having booked only one night!!」

「We loved the view, everything we needed was available and more. All our requests and concerns were answered immediately. All 🛌 were clean and comfortable.」

「The cottage was comfortable and well set up. We will definitely consider going back: it's a great distance for a weekend getaway from Halifax, and the amenities are nice (that sauna!). The only issue we found (because we went to curl up and read books together!) was that the lighting in the main space was not great: a couple of floor lamps would have been great. 」

「Great house. Some of the furniture needs changing like the dining room chairs that are very wobbly.3 bedrooms in basement are only doubles so like my son and his wife that are bigger people they had to sleep separately. All in all there was a great view and it was worth the prixe.」

「Wow! Whalesback Cottage was the Nova Scotia oceanside escape that we were looking for. Our own private space – no traffic … no crowds … and the only sounds were the waves hitting the rocks. 「Lots of amenities. Owners very helpful in recommending local restaurants. Enjoyed finding mussels and sea glass on the little beach as well as the antics of the "rock" beavers. The heated pool was a plus. Absolutely wonderful views of the bay.」
