「Communication with the owner was a bit lengthy in getting a response. When I made the reservation I asked what type of grill was at the rental, I asked several more times to include during my 6 hour drive there and never got a response until I was half way there. Didn't get the access code for the door until after my check in time. Need to include in the information book at the rental that the lake (they tell you about a trail you can take) is good half mile away. Other than that we had a great...

「I would definitely recommend this place. Given how old the building is, I was a little worried about musty odors, but there were none at all. The place was very clean and there was a lot of space, which was great. The only item I overlooked was the building's staircase leading to the second floor. There were a lot of steps! My 81-year-old stepmother was with me, and it was a bit of a challenge but other than that it was GREAT!」

「Very nice lodging on the square in Osceola Mo. I grew up here and love to visit my hometown. Prior to this lodging there weren’t any real options of a nice place to rent. Chestnut now offers a great place to stay right on the square at a very reasonable rate.」

「The pictures don’t do this place justice. It was huge and had everything needed in the kitchen. Spices, ice, pots, pans, dishes, coffee, storage bags, etc. (most places don’t supply half this stuff) Only 15 minutes from the store. There were 7 of us and we all had plenty of space inside. Loved the covered porch. We didn’t realize it was also an RV park, but it was quite. We would definitely come and stay again. Also pet friendly with a doggy door.」
