The staff was very helpful from the time 6i arrived, and for the modest price, the hotel more than met expectations. They even have an elevator, which is not usually the case in budget hotels. The room was cleaned, the place *did not* smell like smoke, the only noise came from the road, which costs a lot more to get away from near Aerocity, and the white noise of the fan and air conditioner (which kept the room very cool) drowned out most outside noise. I would definitely stay here again on a stop to and from the airport. They were very accommodating, and for the price and location it is a very acceptable value. You are 10m walk from Delhi Metro Aerocity station, and all the amenities around there - not to mention streets and neighborhoods full of great food surrounding. If it's your first visit to India and you're expecting a $100 hotel for $15, do not book and then complain later, this is part of why it's difficult to find options as a foreigner. However, if you're realistic and fair about value, you won't be disappointed. Thanks to Mr. Sujay and everyone!

10pm from airport. They copied my passport and made me sign in their book and then told me that suite wasn’t available and told me to go to hotel next door Hotel Kian. Hotel Kians most expensive room was less than $20 and nasty. He said my choice was to take that room or contact Expedia as I paid through them. After 15 hours of flight, I had no time to deal with someone at customer service. So ended up being at hotel next door. I asked to see manager next day and asked to see what can be done and they said there is nothing they can do. Do not pay more than $15 for Hotel Chanakya Airport Delhi. By the way. There is no hot water. Other reviews seem like they hired someone to write reviews.

Dirty, smelly room.

Check in process was ok but the room was horrible. Everything about the room appeared dirty, especially the bathroom, which had a horrible smell. The shower was between the toilet and the sink and had no separate area or shower curtain. For two people, staying one night, we were only provided with 1 towel and a 1/4 roll of toilet paper. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Bad hotel

uncleaned bed sheets are used which are very unhygienic . Shocked to see such an unhygienic conditions in the room and hotel staff is rudely says that laundry has not come yet so can't change the sheets etc
