Top Delta County Historical Museum Hotel Reviews
Gladstone Motel
8/10 Good
"Worked great for what we need which was a hot shower and a cheap spot to sleep for a night just passing through town! No bed bugs (I always do a rigorous room check prior to bringing any of our items inside)."
Travelodge by Wyndham Escanaba

"Staff was very helpful and friendly, clean, and safe. I greatly enjoyed my stay…"
The Upper Peninsula's Hidden Gem
10/10 Excellent
"House was fantastic for a bigger group. Property is beautiful with plenty of room to hangout and play yard games, sun on the beach or just relax around the fire or on the deck. Lots of fans available in the house. They also supply a ton of nice towels and all the things you will need on hand. Amy was amazingly responsive. Would defiantly stay here again."

"Our grandkids ages 8 thru 11 loved the indoor pool with slide. Our assigned room was just outside the entrance to the pool which made in great for grandpa and grandma. The staff was very helpful at check in and helped us with features in the pool area. The breakfast was well staffed with good choices."
"Eagle's Retreat" Vacation Cottage With Gorgeous Park And Lake Views
10/10 Excellent
"We absolutely loved our stay at The Eagle Retreat in Gladstone! This was our 1st family vacation in Michigan’s upper peninsula and we wanted to stay close to Lake Michigan as opposed to Lake Superior, but within an hour of most popular tourist spots. The location of this home was PERFECT. It’s directly across the street from the Little Bay De Noc where the beach is clean, sandy, and shallow. The description and pictures of the home are accurate and did not disappoint. The owners thought of EVERYTHING!!! There are several bicycles in great condition to pick from along with helmets. Our family consists of me and my husband along with 3 kids ranging in age from 11 to 20. We each found a bike that fit perfectly. The outdoor theater with lights was nice for relaxing in the evenings. There are 3 more TVs inside along with streaming services, DVD players, and so many movies to choose from that provided plenty of distraction on the 2 rainy days during our week long stay. They also provided two different gaming systems along with games that my youngest son enjoyed. I had to do a little bit of work while there and the WIFI worked with no issues, even while family members were streaming on other devices. Water pressure was great, the bidet was AWESOME (I want one for my own house), check-in was easy, the host responded quickly when we had a question, extra pillows & blankets were available, and all appliances worked well. Thank you for sharing your home & a great experience!"
Stonington Clearview Cottage: Sun, Sand & Serenity – Summer on the Stonington Peninsula
10/10 Excellent
"If you are the sort of traveler who enjoys being left alone, loves a vintage Great Lakes cabin, and most of all needs an extended shot of quiet nature, this is your place. We stayed for four nights while on our Upper Peninsula vacation and honestly wish it were 2 weeks. The cabin was built in the 1950s and includes all kinds of neat built-ins as well as cool items such as a grandfather clock and antique dressers. A short sandy path leads to a firepit and the beach, and that good-sized stretch of beach is all yours. The neighboring properties are spaced out and behind thick groves of trees and we did not see any neighbors over the four days. The cabin was clean and spacious for two people, and would likely work fine with a group of up to four. No A/C, but many fans to make things breezy. With days in the mid-70s and nights in the 50s we had no need for A/C. The satellite wi-fi was in and out, but we stopped worrying about that after a half hour. There is a water filtration system in the cabin, and you will definitely want to use that for drinking water in lieu of the tap water. The Stonington Peninsula is beautiful and we biked all over it, Very flat biking, very little traffic. The house also comes with a good two-person canoe. We didn't need the management company for anything until check out, but they contacted us by text a couple of times to make sure everything was good. I am 100% confident they'd have come through if we needed anything. We loved this cabin."
NEW! 3 bed, 1.5 Bath, Games, WIFI
10/10 Excellent
"This home was extremely clean and set up perfectly for our extended weekend stay. The location is incredibly convenient—close to local stores, restaurants, downtown, and just minutes from our events at Ludington Park, the beach, and the Yacht Club. The kitchen was a standout feature, giving us plenty of space to prepare our dishes for a family reunion as well as daily breakfasts for the adults and grandchildren. All three bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and having quick access to the laundry room was a great perk. We especially loved relaxing on the front porch swing with morning coffee and in the evening. Being right off M-35 wasn't an issue at all—you barely notice any traffic noise.Craig was an awesome host who responded promptly to all of our pre-trip questions. Having a high chair and Pack 'n Play ready for the infant was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommended!"
