"The location and amenities of the resort were great. The pool access and proximity to the beach area were a plus. Staff and pool service was fantastic too. I would have given the heading an excellent rating except for the fact that the rooms are a bit dated and in need of a facelift. Certainly not dirty but definitely in need of an update. The resort lobby was upgraded and fit for an excellent rating, but the rooms were lacking the same upgrades as the lobby area. Saint Simmons is a wonderful destination and the resort was close to the downtown area and the resort staff were friendly and professional. We would definitely come back."

"Rooms were clean, AC worked great, housekeeping done on request, and breakfast was good. The only thing that I did not like was the walk to the beach. I've been coming to Jekyll Island for many years and have stayed in different hotels. Most have a wooden stairway/walkway/deck that leads all the way to the beach. This one has 2 sets of wooden walkways but are separated by steep, deep, EXTREMELY HOT sand. No solid walkway all the way to the start of the beach. This made it very difficult to walk to and from the beach, even with shoes. Will mostly not stay here again because of the walk."

"We checked in around 2am and the staff was there welcoming us, checking in was very smooth, she also helped retrieving out my long lost Hilton royal membership number! Room was clean and dry, bedding was comfortable and I had a great sleep. Breakfast was nice and I liked the hot oatmeal most!"

"Room and property clean, however one of the bedside lights was not working. When I reported it to the manager, they just made a note so I wouldn't get charged for damages, but made no effort to fix. Also one elevator out of service, which meant a wait with luggage for an elevator when checking out. Was not ideal."
