「Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit verbracht. Natur pur. Die Wildgänse und Enten hatten gerade ihr Jungen, für uns aus nächster Nähe zu beobachten. Gegenüber der Terrasse - Naturschutzgebiet. Leider haben wir die Fahrräder nicht mitgenommen. Einen Mangel haben wir zu beklagen. Es waren die Matratzen, sie waren durchgelegen. Sollen unbedingt ausgetauscht werden. Die Unterkunft ist für Naturliebhaber zu empfehlen.」

「Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub in diesem sehr großen und ruhigen gelegenem Objekt. Es gab in der engeren Umgebung nur 2 weitere Häuser, wovon man allerdings nichts mitbekommen hat. Was etwas hinderlich war, das waren die Stechmücken, diese haben sich immer selbst eingeladen. Aber mit regelmäßigen Schutzsprays, konnte man dem etwas entgegenwirken. Was ich persönlich nicht so schön fand war, dass das Geschirr teilweise nicht richtig sauber war, und wir zuerst spülen mussten bevor wir es...

「Bob was a great host. He met us at the train station and took us back at the end of our stay. He gave us some suggested activities and places to eat which came in handy. The room was spacious and comfortable.」

「Utrecht ist toll, diese Unterkunft allerdings meiner Meinung nach nicht wirklich angenehm zu nutzen. Wir hatten zuvor übersehen, dass auch Hunde erlaubt sind. Dies war Zweifels ohne zu riechen und auch zu sehen. Das Mobiliar ist nicht schön und zudem teilweise unsauber.」

「Das Haus und der sehr schön angelegte Garten haben sehr zu unserer Erholung beigetragen. Die Kommunikation mit Friso war sehr nett, er stand bei Fragen jederzeit zur Verfügung. Die Nähe zu Rotterdam, Den Haag, Delft, Gouda etc. ermöglicht Ausflüge in diese schönen Städte. Macht aber auch unbedingt Fahrradausflüge, z.B. entlang der Rotte an den sehr gut erhaltenen Windmühlen vorbei. Vor Ort sind 2 Fahrräder vorhaben. Wir haben es sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!」

「What a fantastic property! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at ‘De Duif’, a great home, well equipped and in the midst of amazing nature! We loved travelling up the canal and to the lake in the rowing boat and also enjoyed day trips to Amsterdam and Utrecht! We would love to come back!
