A+ Denali Weekend!

The house is so nice, well built and well designed with gorgeous views. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nicely divided for two families. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. Great place to stay!

Mountain View

We had 6 adults and 4 kids ages 6-11. The space was wonderful and provided opportunities to gather and spread out. We loved the game area in the garage. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen well stocked, and nothing beats the view! There were several moose sightings. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Lovely home. Perfect for families. Our little grandson saw the Ping Pong table and declared it the best place Really appreciated the washer and dryer.The large windows looking out at Denali were perfect. Well stocked and so many thoughtful touches.

Beautiful property and spacious home

Situated in a location very convenient to Denali National Park, this home is ideal for a large group or several couples / small families. The layout of the house is good for multiple people (all 4 bedrooms are away from living room and kitchen) and the three full baths made coordinating mornings easy. The house is comfortable and nicely furnished, and it was immaculate upon our arrival. Overall a great place to stay for a group who wants to spend time in Denali!

Great place away from the crowds

The house and location were perfect for our needs. The owners were helpful and were great about addressing anything that came up immediately. Renters should be aware that there are no shuttles from this location and it can be tough to get a taxi/uber so you should plan on having a car.

Perfect house for 4 couples!

Plenty of space to spread out. The house felt like we were living in the Park. We had a campfire every night. The views of the mountains are spectacular! A mama moose with 2 babies visited us both days. David's home was the highlight of our trip.

Nice house with awesome views

We were very impressed with the house and the mountain views. House is located a mile off the highway in a forested area, close to a nice lake and a golf course and restaurant. Close to grocery stores and Denali NP. Well stocked kitchen and lots of space for large groups. There is a smaller cabin behind this big house, which is also offered as a vacation rental.

Great Time!

This was a super house. Fantastic views of the mountains we never got tired looking at. House had plenty of room for our group of 7 adults. Lots of towels, blankets, dishes, etc. Very well equipped for large groups. Very clean and had essentials such as soaps, dish washing lotion, shampoo, etc. Lots of good reference books available. Super location as quiet but close to Healy. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property exactly as listed, the location and house are fantastic, we all really enjoyed it. If you enjoy the outdoors, you will love this place. Alaskan family reunion

Disregard the bumpy road to get to this house- it’s perfect for a group of mixed ages: 4, 10,12,16, 16,42, 44,44,45, 69 and 75!! Layout was great- closing off hallway to rooms while early risers could be in kitchen or late night TV watchers.. ping pong table a big hit! Great washer and dryer. The little amenities of chair and luggage rack in rooms was awesome! Table and lamps by beds were wonderful! The hosts really helped us with a need for mechanic when one rental had a tire going flat! The moose and her baby walked through one morning and the privacy of the area made it seem like great wilderness. Highly recommend.

Private Setting

Perfect for our large group of 11. Well stocked kitchen, nice living room and dining area. We enjoyed playing ping pong, fishing at the lake and hiking on the trails right off of the property. We did an ATV tour with Denali ATV's and it was just a short 5 minute walk from the property. The sleeping arrangements were perfect. This house has a lot to offer, activities, scenery and plenty of space. We never felt crowded.

We loved it!

Extended family of 5 adults and 4 children stayed for 5 nights. The house was perfect for us - plenty of rooms and bathrooms. We were able to have a fire outside and toast marshmallows which is a favorite of the kids. We were graced with the presence of a snowshoe hare, numerous ground squirrels and a mother moose with twin calves. Only a short drive to the park where we spent the days. Also enjoyed the great food at 49th State Brewery in Healy. Thanks for sharing a great house in a great location with us.

Great house!

The house is great size and very well located 20 minutes from Denali Park, 5 minutes from grocery store, gas, ATV riding, Black Diamond Grill and 49th State Brewery & Grill. Good size bedrooms, although one has to use bath in living area (not a big deal). Den is little small for nine, but easy to spread across dining area (seats 8). Well equipped kitchen. Ping pong and darts got lots of use. Lovely view. Highly recommend.

Great space for families!

Some of my family stayed in this home for 3 nights while on a visit to Denali National Park. There were 9 people in total (6 adults and 3 kids). The house was clean and comfortable. It’s about 15 minutes from the park entrance so we rented cars to get back and forth. I would recommend this home for families. The ping pong table was a hit! We also rented another one of David’s homes that is a bit bigger for 11 people the same dates. Would recommend either and it was a breeze working with David. We all hope to return!

House near Denali

A beautiful house, quiet, conveniently located, and excellent view from the living room/dining room. 3 bathrooms can accommodate any size of the party. We had a great time at Denali National Park. David's house is very close the the national park. After a 12 hours long day trip at Denali, we could conveniently retrieve back to David's house for a good rest. Post card like view through the windows in the living room. As what were commented in other reviews that the bedrooms are all located on one side of the house. The best part of this design is that people can stay in the living room without bothering other people who may want to sleep early or get up later. A good decision we made to rent David's house. I would definitely recommend David house to friends.
