“This property is beautiful and the cottage was immaculately clean. We had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway with kids and dog. We hiked the nearby hydro Palmer Rapids portage route every day. The kids cold plunged in the river and then warmed up by the bonfire. The river itself is majestic at this spot and the view from the cottage sofa and the screened-in porch was excellent. Kellie and Florencia were easy to get ahold of and answered any question we had. “Bright, clean, and large cottage and property - truly a hidden gem. Pics and description don't do it justice! So many more cool features than listed, such as saucer swing, kids' kayaks, kids' ninja course and sand box, large lawn for outdoor games, floating water mat, wrap-around deck, and long shady driveway for walks to spot chipmunks and birds. “Our family just finished a great getaway at this cottage in Clyone. It sits lakefront, on a hill overlooking Mazinaw Lake, just a stone’s throw from the waterfront. Down on the shore, a sandy bottom waterline awaits with a large dock, perfect for sunbathing, reading a good book or watching your kiddos swim. “This is our second time staying here. The cottage is spacious in a nice setting by a small river. We needed to use the portable air-conditioner due to the high temperature this long weekend. We enjoyed the 3 + 1 kayaks and a well-maintained play structure for the little ones. The fireplace in front of the house was removed, probably due to forest fire hazard this year. The drives from our homes were long esp. for a long weekend stay this year vs. a week long stay last year. Drawbacks this year……
