Escape the city for a cozy winter mountain getaway—without the I-70 traffic! This charming woodland cottage is surrounded by forest trails perfect for hiking or snowshoeing at Mt Falcon Park, or sledding at Pence Park. Both parks are 1.5 miles from the cottage. Sleds and snowshoes provided!

After a day outdoors, warm up by the fire pit or settle in for a cozy game or movie night. The perfect retreat for couples, families, or friends looking to relax and recharge.

Property Highlights:
Enjoy all the comforts of home with a fully stocked kitchen—complete with spices, oils, cookware, a crock pot, and more for cozy winter meals. Treat yourself to complimentary snacks, pancake mix, popcorn with toppings, hot chocolate, cider, tea, and coffee. Relax with a large smart TV (Netflix, Prime, Apple TV) or a variety of classic and unique board games. Stay warm with radiant heated floors, an electric fireplace/heater, and even a bathroom space heater for extra comfort. The cottage is exactly as pictured/described - cute, cozy, clean, well-appointed, and spacious. We enjoyed making use of all the little touches the host provided: coffee and snacks, the patio fire pit and zero gravity deck chairs under the stars. Really couldn’t imagine a better launching pad for our foothills adventures, or any more comfortable place to come home to!!

Loved the mountain home location. It’s on the way to Mt Falcon. Beautiful location coming from a big city loved the serenity and country living, very peaceful. The cottage looked fairly new, was very neat, very clean and perfectly and comfortably decorated. Everything was perfect and our host was very accommodating.

Loved the woodland cottage, it was one of my favorite VRBO’s so far! It was decorated beautifully with so many wonderful little touches throughout and came stocked with everything we could possibly need, including snacks, games, even a stocked medicine cabinet. We even borrowed some stadium cushions for the shows at Red Rocks that we were there for. The location was so convenient and the surroundings were gorgeous! We loved sitting on the deck watching the deer (and I think I saw two foxes!) pass through the yard. Thank you for an amazing stay! We’ll definitely be back when we’re in the area.

This is an amazing property in every aspect. The cabin is adorable and very well appointed. The location is excellent for hiking, Red Rocks, or just general exploring. What makes this property stand out even more are the hosts. Quick responses, accommodating, they loaned us seats for Red Rocks and even messaged us at one point to let us know there was an elk grazing in the yard. We will be back!

Remote not too far away

Fully equipped kitchen with everything and more. Day one woke up to deer in the woods with gorgeous view. Red Rocks venue close by and borrowed padded stadium chairs. More local trailheads 1, 2, 8 miles for excellent hikes minutes away than we could complete in our 5 day stay. Even went to downtown Denver in 30-45 min.
