Great last minute getaway!
Our stay was excellent!! My son and I loved the cabin… perfect size and it looks terrific!! It had everything we needed and was a great spot for us to use as a base camp to do some hiking and for most of the weekend just chill and relax… safe inside from the frigid temps outside. We did make use of the grill which made for some delicious meals and the fire pit was great too huddle around. And our dog Bailey also loved the open spaces to run around outside. Thanks for setting up a place that made for a great weekend.

All the technology and comfort with nature just aoitside the door
We stayed comfortably for two nights enjoying the air conditioning, Wi-Fi, full kitchen, and hot shower with the ability to step right outside to see mountains, the river, wild flowers, wild animals, and peace! It was perfect for us!

Another great trip

Awesome Cabin
This cabin is just a fantastic place to stay. It was clean, convenient and had everything you would possibly need. Everything was well stocked. The location on the river is great and access is perfect. Would recommend to anyone going to fish the Upper West Branch

Great weekend getaway
We a wonderful weekend staying at this cozy cabin. Everything was clean when we arrived and the check-in process was easy. We had a great time fishing and hanging out at the river. Our dog loved running in the yard and sitting with us at the fire pit. We will definitely stay again.

Away from the hustle of the city, we were able to relax, Fishing and swimming by day, sitting by the campfire at night can really give time to communicate. Something most people don't do these days.

FANTASTIC LOCATION WITH SUPER HOST
Finest location for fishing, relaxing, campfire gathering and/or jumping off point. Highly recommended for a couple or small group of fishing fanatics. Cleanliness and accommodations are first class! Andrew is a great host - responsive with clear communications - he cares about this beautiful place!

cute cabin, noisy neighbors
adorable cabin (with a matching cabin next door) with a spacious back field and riverfront access for catch and release fishing. wonderful amenities such as a smart tv with cable that can easily connect to one’s subscription services for a movie night. the only downside is how loud the neighbors are on their ATVs, in their pool, dirt bikes, etc. zooming around all day. Fred, the neighbor’s Rottweiler is wonderful and friendly but he poops everywhere. the property was a wonderful retreat for me, my boyfriend, and our dogs. as with any outdoors adventure, beware of ticks, mosquitos, and protect your dogs as well. other than the loud neighbors, the cabin was nice, clean, and perfect for a couple!

Weekend getaway
My husband and I enjoyed a quiet weekend getaway during COVID time. We were able to bring our dogs and enjoy the gorgeous area and terrific fishing. The cabin was perfect for what we were looking for. We will definitely be back!

Nice stay
First time in the deposit area and was very nice scenery. Positives are that cabin was cozy, clean, everything you need was there. Mountains and river/reservoir was beautiful . Plenty of firewood w a fire pit and charcoal grill. Was a cold weekend when we stayed but heat was more than adequate. Downsides are that not much to do besides fishing. Hiking was not that great and firewood was wet from the rain prior so hard to get a good fire going. Communication was slow going through Vrbo about a day or so for response from owner but picked up once we started to text. Otherwise was a nice stay but due to lack of good hiking trails besides Oquaga state park will probably not be back.

Fantastic long weekend getaway!
We had an awesome experience at this perfectly sized cabin for 2! The accommodations were perfect. Everything you could possibly need was provided for. The double bed was very comfortable and we slept well the 3 nights we were here. We brought most of our food to have our meals at the cabin but did a little research and made reservations our second night at Remlik’s Grille and Oyster Bar in Binghamton about 1/2 hour from the cabin. Highly recommend if you’re looking to treat yourself to 1 fine dinner. There was plenty of firewood and we took advantage of the firepit by the river on our second night as well. We went hiking at Arctic China State Park our first day and bought a lot of good stuff at the Catskill Cattle farm right around the corner. If you forget your coffee like we did this is the place to get some with fresh cream as well! On our second day we went hiking at Cascade Valley State Park. We couldn’t have asked for better weather for this time of year lows in the 50’s and highs of low 70’s. We walked to the river every morning to sit and have our coffee with the sunrise. The water in the shower was nice and hot to wash the day off too. All in all it was a great experience and we loved every moment of it

Perfect place to be alone with your thoughts
The cabin was cozy, clean, and well-equipped. Fast WiFi. The kitchen in particular had everything you could need. But I came here for the waterfront and it was even more beautiful and magnificent than the photos can communicate. This place is definitely on my shortlist the next time I need to get away from it all and just be alone with my thoughts.

The cabin itself was clean and exactly as described. The firepit was well stocked with wood and sitting by the river was very relaxing. The only issue I have is that we went for privacy and thought this was the only cabin on the 3 acres when in fact it sits right next to a second cabin. There were people staying there as well and although they were very nice, I could hear their conversations clearly. It was not the total quiet I was looking for but if that is not your main objective, then this was a great place to stay and very affordable.

Peaceful cabin
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at cabin #1. The cabin had everything we needed. Loved having fires right outside the cabin with plenty of wood available. The river is right across the street through a gate. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding to the dam and back... It definitely is a strong current at times. We went down river and back up as well... That was a tougher current to get through but you could get out and pull the board and kayak. We had a lot of fun and laughs. Pretty view from the porch of the cabin and while sitting at the river. Andrew was very helpful and even let us check in early. He also didn't mind my many questions. We had car trouble while there and he even gave us a mechanic's name. Bring your bikes and kayaks/paddle boards. We'll definitely be staying again.
