“This accommodation was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and well situated. The bed was so comfy, and we appreciated having the sofa as an alternative to just sitting on the bed. “I stayed there for 2 nights. First of all, the staff was super nice. They helped with booking the tour and taxi for me. The location was good as well (near the beach and restaurants). Founded in 588 BC, Apollonia was a significant trading port and cultural centre for about 50,000 people, many of whom settled here from nearby Corfu. Today the site is still undergoing excavation so there isn't tons and tons to see. This particular building isn't original to the site but was made from materials found on the site and has been modified many times since its creation as a monastery in the 13th century.
