「The cottage was spacious and great for four friends staying together for a week of walking in Co Cork. All the needs that are required ie. towels, sheets, kitchen utensils etc, were there. The kitchen was fully supplied with dishwasher tablets and a washing machine working perfectly. It's a 10 min drive from Castletownbere so no walking to the nearest pub/restaurant. A taxi ride to go into town. A beautiful location and a lovely spot to have time away from it all. I'd definitely go back 」

「Come for the views, stay for the peace and quiet. If you're looking for the "Irish farm house feel" this is the one! Nestled deep in the countryside on a hill overlooking where Atlantic ocean meets ths Kenmare river. Walking into the house made feel like I was at my Grandparents home (in idaho). We loved it. Would move here in a heartbeat We thouroghly enjoyed "Nan’s hotel". We are already planning a return visit.」

「⸻We absolutely loved our stay in the stunning Castlecove area, just a short walk from the beautiful White Strand Beach. The views from John’s house are simply breathtaking, and both John and Louise were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish.We especially enjoyed the seaweed baths in Sneem—perfect for a rainy day! And don’t miss the Mexican food truck across from The Black Shop pub—it’s definitely worth a visit.」

「The star of the lovely cottage is the scenery. After a drive down a long winding lane we were transported two hundred years into the past. Surrounded by mountains on all sides, sheep in small pastures with a river and waterfalls through it all. The cottage is simple and lovely. Jonathan, the host, Is one of the nicest people we've met, charming, funny and kind. The stay at the lovely cottage was the heart of our journey in Ireland. 」
