They also responded very quickly with any additional questions I had.It was the perfect spot to host our family Christmas gathering. We watched several movies and made popcorn and door dashed Fongs pizza. Great experience overall!”

“There was no hand soap in the bathroom soap dispenser, so we just used the Dawn soap from the kitchen. Also, the bathroom trash was not emptied from previous guests. Otherwise, it appeared clean and it was in a great location next to Drake University.”

“Newer apartment complex close to downtown. The space was clean and we felt safe in our surroundings. Positives: It was bigger than the basic hotel and cheaper so we were happy with our stay. Once we found the pool/game room on the 3rd floor, we enjoyed. Appreciated the hangers in the closet and ice trays in the freezer. Cons: No private patio, the couch is actually a futon and uncomfortable, the street parking was about 2 blocks away each night and the TV connection was painfully slow; we ended……

“Was exactly what we needed for the long wrestling weekend. Was so nice to go and have a plaiof our own to recover without the chaos of a hotel. Excellent communication and easy checking in and out. ”

“The host was super welcoming and pleasant. However the cleanliness of the flat wasn’t quite up to par. When we arrived at the Vrbo the trash hadn’t been removed prior to us getting there. The floors through out the flat were dirty, there were feces left in the toilet and mold on the shower curtain. The Vrbo did not have toilet paper and only had half a roll available once we arrived (not too big of a deal had it been a longer trip we would have planned needing to buy more) overall it was……

“The apartment was just what we were looking for for a weekend in Des Moines with my daughter, and our dog. Both bedrooms were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and the place was cozy. And it was just minutes away from the restaurants, farmers market, and other sites we want to visit. most places were under 10 minutes awa. The area was a pet friendly too with green space and nice neighborhood for walks and plenty of street parking ”
