Beautiful 4-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home minutes from shopping and dining. Features include new hot tub that is professionally maintained, hardwood floors, French doors, an updated kitchen, and a private primary suite. Enjoy the fully fenced yard that has a gas grill, yard games and a detached 2-car garage. Book your stay today!

The Space:
This is a 4-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home located near shopping and dining options. It features a front porch, hardwood floors, a stone fireplace, and a bonus space for office use or workouts with yoga mats, Bowflex adjustable weights, and a workout bench. There is a hot tub, outdoor seating, a gas grill, and yard games in the backyard. The kitchen is open and spacious. The family room includes an electric fireplace and large couch. The primary suite has a private bathroom with a shower. The house includes three additional bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a finished attic bonus room with two twin beds.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire house & large fenced in backyard.
Please note if you are bringing toddlers, there are two sets of open stairs with no gates.

The Neighborhood:
There is a vibrant neighborhood surrounding our home! This area boasts an array of exciting bars and restaurants, as well as numerous walkable attractions. Located near Drake University, our Airbnb offers convenient access to the campus and its many amenities. We recommend bringing your own car to get around as there are very few public transportation options.

Family time ❤️
We traveled to Des Moines for a weekend with our kids and grandkids. We were a group of 6 adults and 3 kids and two dogs. This property was PERFECT for our needs! Beautiful home, very clean, quiet and well furnished. We made use of both the backyard and front porch space, and we enjoyed having use of the oversized two stall garage for parking. The house is located in a nice neighborhood with easy access to the interstate, downtown Des Moines and Blank Park Zoo. Communication with both the owner and the website was prompt and easy and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again!! We would 100% recommend this rental property. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Poor Communication Spoiled Our Golden Wedding Anniversary
First this Host Does not communicate ,Not even a Help Tel Number in the House. They changed Check_in Process I think so Guests cannot get in early, you cannot get their app to work until the Hour & day of check_in ,we had to sit on the door step for over 15 mins until dead on 4pm. most of their emails are from Virtual people IE a computer,The House has Hazards like loose air con metal covers in the floors ,a Hand rail to the lower TV room loose and with a long rusty screw sticking out at the bottom, they showed no interest, we have in been treated this way in 40years of travel abroad. On a personal note if you want a good vacation with a good Host then Stay away from High Rocky Homes, we contacted VRBO for help they gave us 2 numbers to call High rocky Homes 1 just rang (No Answer Machine and the other just rang off ,STAY AWAY from this Host they treated us with total dissrespect Roland

It was a perfect location.
We had a fabulous time. Used the hot tub a couple times that was an extra bonus. All the bedrooms were perfect. The bathroom upstairs could use a little fixing... The shower sounds like the floor will fall out it cracks horribly. The sink did not have a drain stopper therefore if you dropped anything it would go right down the drain. When you run the water its very loud can hear it in all the bedrooms. Still we had a wonderful time...

Great, spacious house close to Drake
This house is located in a quiet neighborhood close to Drake. It is nicely furnished, has plenty of room and lots of gathering spaces.The office was perfect for me to get some work done, while the runner among us enjoyed the hot tub after a workout.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was spacious and had wonderful amenities. We loved the backyard and hot tub. The hosts were very responsive too. If we are every back in Des Moines we will defiantly be staying here.

Lovely property!
My entire family was impressed with how lovely this property is! Every amenity was provided and every detail was attended to! So very accommodating! This is not a criticism, but a consideration for other groups. Some elderly people might find the many steps to be brutal. A few in our group did. Oh! We especially loved the poster in the main floor living area with the I Love Des Moines, Travelers Insurance sign in place of Love. My grandpa made and erected that sign back in the '60's! My mom and my aunt told me to make sure I told you that! Thanks for everything! We'll be looking for this property when we come again!

Home has been remodeled with nice furniture and new appliances. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. Great location. We liked the large garage parking.
