Excellent

l'étage de la maison est grand, agréable et bien équipé et conforme à la description. La vue est excellente sur l'océan (petit dej en terrasse c'est TROP TOP et puis les petits oiseaux viennent dire bonjour). L'accès en voiture est impressionnant (forte pente) mais on s'y fait. L'accueil de Madly sur place a été très apprécié. Nous étions 5 (2 adultes et 3 enfants 13/9/5 ans) durant les vacances d' Oct 2019. un petit bmol quelques moustiques qui sont petits et passent par les systèmes de volets de certaines fenêtres (prévoir de l'anti moustique et de l'apaysil). L'appart possède des moustiquaires au dessus des lits et la clim dans chaque chambre (très bien pour les nuits). Magnifique plage de sable blanc de la grande anse à 5mn en voiture. Petite plage aussi en bas de la voie d'accès de l'autre coté de la rue mais avec des rochers. Question commodité un magasin U à 10mn en voiture avec une pharmacie et des produits locaux.

Nous avons passé 3 jours chez Daniela, son logement dispose d'une très belle vue sur la mer et le sun set. Le logement est bien situé pour visiter Basse-terre et à proximité de grande anse et la plage de la perle. La description de l'appartement est conforme, avec un grand salon salle à manger, 2 grandes salle de bains,une grande terrasse, une literie confortable, une grande cuisine et un barbecue sur la terrasse. L'appartement était très propre. La climatisation fonctionnait. Il n'y a pas ou peu de réseau GSM dans la maison mais le wifi fonctionnait trés bien. Je le recommande sans hésitation.

All good , would of like more comfortable chairs on balcony. No fault to the condo owner , my mistake but I under estimated the closeness to the hwy (N2) so we had a little more traffic noise than expected.

Over all , a very nice stay . Just an FYI : cell. phone coverage not available . Must walk 1000 pieds or so to start getting signal. This makes communication with the outside world and the property mgr. a little harder but in the end it's not a big deal.

Basic, comfortable accommodation with beautiful sunset views close to beaches

Positives: Very friendly and helpful caretaker who helped solve a big problem with a dead rental car. Beautiful unlimited views of the sea at sunset from an excellent covered porch with adjustable awnings. Very nice location with outstanding nearby beaches and Grand Anse only a short, enjoyable hike away. Quiet air conditioners in all bedrooms. Only a few mosquitoes and no problem with eating outside on the porch after sunset. Quiet residential neighborhood. All appliances worked fine. Plenty of hot water for showers. Negatives: Steep driveway. High above the coastal highway, with some traffic noise during the day when outside on the porch. Quiet inside. Poor lighting in kitchen and bedrooms. Especially needs more lighting in the kitchen. Only basics are supplied. Guests need to supply additional toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, trash bags etc.

Très bel appartement, tout les repas pris sur la terrasse avec une vue magnifique sur la mer avec le soleil au rendez-vous. Le mois que nous avons passé a été trop court pour nous mais superbe. Nous aurions bien rallongé notre séjour. Nos enfants et petits enfants ont été enchantés. Petit bémol la côte est dure, mais on l'oublie avec le soleil et la mer. Yvonne très gentille et Jean très serviable, séjour à conseiller à toutes personnes qui veut venir en Guadeloupe.

Not recommended - would not stay here again

We stayed for one week and there was a severe problem with mosquitoes. Every time we opened a drawer, cupboard, or cabinet, swarms of mosquitoes flew out, and in the mornings there were hundreds of dead mosquitoes on the floors. There are no screens on the windows and no netting for the beds, so were very concerned to contract Zika. We would not have paid so much for this apartment. Though it has a beautiful porch and view, the driveway is incredibly steep and many would find it unmanageable and dangerous to drive up and back down. We had to buy our own toilet paper, dish soap, and cleaning supplies. One of the two bathroom drains was clogged the entire time which was most unpleasant. Though a housekeeper was said to be included, no one ever came and on the morning of our departure we were surprised to be told we needed to take out the trash and returnables. We would not have minded doing so, but were not made aware of this, and this seems unusual for a vacation rental to require of the guests. With more attention to guests needs and consideration, the apartment could be very nice, but we would definitely not stay here again.
