Family Vacation Magic

Amazing!!!

This was an amazing place to take your family. The beach is so close and the beach attendant is so helpful and attentive! It was great to have chairs and an umbrella there. It's so close to restaurants and stores. It's locked and very secure so I felt comfortable with my sons going back and forth. We will be coming back for sure!!! Than you for a great vacation for my Family.

Fabulous view & beach decor!

The bed was comfortable and the decor made me feel right at home yet on the beach!

Great location. Close to the beach

Views from the balcony were excellent and you could hear the ocean. The condo is a short distance from restaurants and stores. Enjoyed not having to bring an umbrella and chairs to the beach. The attendant on the beach was super nice. We loved the convenience of the shopping cart to bring groceries up to the room. We wish the tennis and pickleball courts were open but they were under refurb our entire stay.

Great place to stay!

The twin beds in the 2nd bedroom were very tall to try to get into but moved having storage underneath but wasn’t a huge deal and we made it work. Would definitely stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is year #6 for us at The Islander! Amazing staff, great property, super clean, quiet and safe! This was our first time in unit 717 and it was great! Very clean and tastefully decorated, I loved that they had a closet with beach toys- we even left the ones we purchased so the next guests could use them too! The only thing I didn’t love about our stay is the elevator was broke multiple times throughout our stay and the new bracelet wrist bands are terrible and not reliable at all, we were locked out of our unit multiple times. Other than those two things though we had a great stay and no complaints at all! We will continue to come back year after year!

Perfect getaway!

We planned a very quick trip for Memorial Day! It was myself, my mom and my teenage daughter. The condo was perfect. The amenities at the condo were excellent! We loved the pool, the carts for hauling stuff up and down, beach access and cleanliness overall. Everyone was so friendly. Alan was wonderful- make sure you tip him well! We would love to come back again in the future!

Great condo! My only complaint was the communication. The never return messages set through VRBO. They did return phone calls. With al that I will be staying here again in the future. Thanks for the great time!

Perfect beach weather

We Loved it !!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I had a great time at the Islander Resort. The Condo was very nice, with everything we needed for our stay. We loved walking to the beach everyday, then sitting in the jacuzzi tub at the resort, before going back to our unit, and seeing the sunset almost every evening !! The view was great from our unit, looking out over the nearby lake, and harbor inlet to watch the boats go in and out, plus the sunsets on the gulf were priceless. We are definitely coming back again in the future !!

A Break from COVID

Never had to wait long for an elevator and the facility was full. Parking lot was also easy and close to where we wanted to be in relation to our condo. Views of ocean and beach area were just as promised. We definitely will recommend and return to this resort.

There was a new staff which was one this year. Both elevators were working. (Last 2 stays there they were not) The front desk staff was helpful and eager to please . We now want 717 every visit. One problem... The chairs did not rock and swivel on the patio. That is what this old person wanted. BUT...did I mention THE VIEW?

Very Quiet and Pleasant

Only one thing which would stop me from staying in Room 717 next time. If you Love a HARD bed, this is where you want to go to sleep. As for me, I toughed it out. My wife slept on the couch for 9 nights. Loved 717 other than that. I hope they install something to make it softer. We will be back. If I knew the bed was softer, I would book our next 9 nights in 717 right now! Beautiful view! Oh yeah, and a couple of those patio chairs which rock and swivel would be nice. Some have those and some do not. 717 does not! Overall, the Islander is The Best place to stay!

A perfect vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was super clean and decorated so nicely. There were 5 of us (3 teenagers & us parents). Each kid had their own bed which is a must for us. We used the sofa sleeper. The only negative was king mattress is very very firm. I know that’s a personal preference but it was hard to sleep on it. We utilized the kitchen and cooked several meals. Loved that we had extra towels available for showers. We did notice that one of the chairs on the balcony is broken. It had a screw sitting on the seat and the metal frame wasn’t attached. Not a big deal we just didn’t use that particular chair. The left elevator was a bit rickety. You never knew of it was actually going to work. Management should have someone out to check it. Alan with the beach chair service was AWESOME!! Overall we loved it! Would definitely rent this unit again.
