Labor weekend 2020

We had a great stay ! Location is good but you have to cut through the restaurant to get out to the beach and pool .. a little awkward but ppl that work there said they were use to it . Food there is good so very convenient if you don’t want to go any where else to eat during this time . The pool is very small .. that’s why they didn’t show pictures.. and the picture that has the pool in it is the condos next door which was very nice and big . But the location is great and had calm waves and very nice sand bar so it didn’t matter about the pool . Labor Day weekend was a success!!!

Inn at Crystal Beach #301

Our group of six women thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Crystal Beach. The accommodations were comfortable and overall well-maintained, although the carpeting in the bedrooms really needs to be replaced with tile for a nice update. (Plus, carpet at the beach is gross!) We did have an issue with nails sticking out of the floor where the flooring transitions from tile to bedroom carpet. This was reported and a quick-fix was applied by management, but the owners really need to invest in some transition strips in the bedroom doorways, or better yet, just tile the bedrooms. There is a nice little restaurant and bar on the beach level of the Inn. We enjoyed dinner there one night and the food was very good except the fish was over-cooked. It was late so we suspect it may have been bad timing in our part. Our server was phenomenal and took excellent care of us! From the condo you have to walk through this restaurant to access the beach, so don’t forget your cute cover-ups when staying here!

The apartment was comfortable and clean. I called before and the beach was open then it was closed for the corana virus. I think it would had been fair if we would had been notified and refunded due to the issue. We were not allowed on the beach. Or maybe received a discount for going. The restaurant was closed, no beach chairs, basically quartined. I know that was not anyone’s fault but it would have been good business.

We love #301. It is spacious for all 9 of us and a beautiful condo. (6adults/3 small children). We’ve stayed at Inn at Crystal Beach the last 4 years.This is the 2nd year in #301. This is the first year we’ve had issues. They charge now for early check-in. I think that’s ludicrous. We were told at 2 it was being inspected. Didn’t get in until after 5:00. Get in, find sheets not changed on one bed😳 at 12:00 am, were told they had none, took two trips to desk to get some, used soap in tub, dirty towel left in bathroom, etc) *I was refunded cleaning fee* I think when you pay top dollar to stay at a top dollar facility you should expect and receive better service than this. We also had an a/c problem at 10:00 at night that had to be resolved. Drain for our unit clogged leaking and causing damage to unit below. This was just poor maintenance really. The line was full of gunk, but they should probably be checked a few times a year as a preventative of this. We do love this place, hope they get a handle on things.

This is a beautifully furnished condo with a gorgeous view. Very comfy and the kids loved the bunk beds. Kitchen appliances need a good cleaning. Walls are very scuffed and could you use some cleaning as well as paint. We would stay here again.

Beautifully decorated and spacious. However we have stayed at Inn at Crystal Beach for 20 years and it is not as clean as it has been in prior years. The entire facility was dirty . Room was not clean. Sand in corners, dirt on walls and floors. Straw carpet in our condo was nasty. It’s sad because condo very nice. But to expensive for experience:(

This was very nicely furnished and had a gorgeous view. Beds were comfy and the bunk beds were a bit hit with the littles. Kitchen appliances could have been cleaned better and walls were all scuffed in the entry way. Condo had everything we needed and we would definitely stay here again.
