Fantastic!

We had a great time here. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 5 children. The beach and private pool kept the kids entertained. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Plus 5 days of perfect weather!

Family Vacation and Celebration

We just wrapped up a weeklong stay at this property and the whole experience was amazing. The property is huge and had plenty of room for our large family. The bunk room was great for kids and the location on the beach can’t be beat.

Perfect for a large group

Star of the Sea was the perfect setting for our group’s beach trip. The kids loved having a sleepover in the bunk room, and each couple was appreciative of having their own king sized bed. Being able to see the beach from the pool was a big plus, as was being able to see the pool from the living area. Would definitely stay here again!

Escape from Reality

The house itself and location was perfect for our family escape from reality! My husband, our 3 adult children, their spouses and children had a wonderful 8 days/nights! The house allowed for plenty of space for 11 of us, and the location was ideal. We all stayed in the 5 large bedrooms of the main house and did not feel crammed for space. The house is beautiful and the pool/back porch area was perfect for occasional breaks out of the full sun! The short walk to the beach was convenient for going back & forth throughout the day. I highly recommend this property!

Perfect beach home with private pool

Property manger was very easy to work with. Great communication. Process was very easy getting in and out. Enjoyed this beautiful beach house with a private pool! Very easy access to the beach with beach chairs that were set-up for us. We had 3 couples with plenty of room. Very clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Downside, not enough kitchen supplies and need better toilet paper! Would recommend this vacation beach home!!

The house is nice with a decent location a few houses away from the crowds. However it is not the best house for people on different schedules as it’s very open and small sounds travel and echo. There were several broken items when we arrived and the property manager was very responsive in taking care of what he could in a timely manner.

This property was just perfect! It is close to everything and the beach is beautiful. I would definitely book this property again! The only con I have is that they need better toilet paper😂😬! The kitchen had everything we needed. The guest house is a nice addition and the pool is very clean. We also had Chef Jekyll come in and cook my husband’s birthday dinner. It was a great week!!!

Just what we needed!

We were very pleased with our stay. Some of the handles on doors, windows and faucets need to be tightened- especially the back door as it kept coming off. But that is the only issue we had. The house was beautiful and in a great location. It was well stocked and you can’t beat the sunsets. Latoya was always available and helpful!

They each had their own ensuite bedroom and my only grandson and his mom and dad were able to stay in the apartment over the garage to avoid the family noise during nap time. The inside of house was renovated very nicely. The outside needed a little tlc especially on the upper and lower deck. Some of the appliances were not working and we did find a couple of friendly cockroaches ... but overall we all agreed it was a nice place to stay. Thank you!

I was pleased to discover there are privacy shades on the windows in the master bathroom around the tub area (which were not visible in online pics). The pool was actually larger in person than we expected from the pictures online. Our entire family really enjoyed being able to use it when the ocean was too rough or we were ready for some down time. Much of the day, at least a portion of the pool is shaded & that was quite nice. The house is so beautiful, tastefully and thoughtfully designed & decorated. The linens and furnishings anre all very high quality and luxurious. The chairs & umbrella set up on the beach was so nice to have access to each day during our stay. The guys set them up each morning at 8 am & took them down each day between 4-5 pm. The chairs were all labeled that they were reserved for our house. We were pleasantly surprised to discover lots of beach/sand toys, floats, etc in the storage space under the deck - and made good use of them. We didn’t use the guest house space, but it is just as beautiful and well appointed as the main home. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed (and then some). The proximity of the home to some of our favorite Destin shopping and dining was really nice as well. We have already booked a second stay at this home for next season (this is literally the first place we’ve ever wanted to stay in a 2nd time in Destin). Highly recommend! *We found the outdoor hose & shower on the stairs from the deck to the beach to be in working order and completely satisfactory for our needs. Additionally, we found the pots & pans in the kitchen to be of nice quality, as were all of the kitchen utensils & appliances.
