「What an amazing stay. 1790s cabin restored in the 80s. Beautiful and still had all we needed for our trip to the lake. We visited historic Bedford during the day and spent our evenings in this beautiful historic cabin. Met the owner Dave and he gave us a full tour and history. He also gave us some great suggestions for places to eat and places to get great views of the area.」

「We rented this property for an extended family getaway. It was a great spot and beautiful home. This home offered a slew of activities for all to enjoy - the hot tub, the paddleboards, and the pool table. Although we couldn't partake in the pool or firepit because of the weather (too cool and windy), it was ready for us if we had the opportunity. Stores were about a 10 minute drive and easy to locate. 「We were looking for a getaway, not too far from home. We had a very nice stay at the lake house. If you're looking for outdoor fun and family time, this is a great spot. I loved waking up in the morning with my coffee and looking out at the lake. It was great to just walk outside, grab a kayak and go! 「Very charming loft with fully equipped kitchen. Very homey feel. The little sofa was comfortable and the washer/dryer with detergent was a nice bonus. There wasn't really a functioning dining table though since the leaf didn't stay up, but it was just me so it didn't bother me. The bathroom sink should probably be replaced but maybe some people like the "old world" feel. Happy with my stay and hope to stay again next time I'm in town.」

「This was a last minute booking. One snafu with Vacasa with them not being able to verify my ID via DL but with a quick phone call that was corrected. The home itself is nice and has plenty of space and amenities. The decibel reader is a little off-putting but I understand with VA laws being the way they are. Overall, it was a nice stay.」

「We had the best time at this cabin. The view was to die for. The cabin is on a quiet cove which is perfect for swimming and fishing. The walk down to the water is very well maintained and has steps leading to it. There’s a pier to tie your boat up at if you’re bringing one.
