“Strong dog smell, dirty shabby condition of interior surfaces. Obvious makeshift repairs, spongy floors, torn, flaking couch. Kitchen counter had multiple burn marks and some sticky substance, corner held down with duct tape. Screen door off tracks, laying against wall. Wife was stung by insect in the unit, had to go to hospital. We moved out after only 3 hours, and literally slept in the car rather than go back. Owner uncaring, rude and greedy. “The host Casey is very responsive which we truly appreciated, but "An Oasis", this is not. The house is worn and the bathrooms were not cleaned to the level they should have been. Casey offered to have the cleaning service return, but with a house full of kids, we didn't want the disruption. The master bedroom tv on the top floor didn't work, which we didn't realize until our first evening, so we were without a tv the first night. “The place was super easy to access and clean. We were just staying for one week night and didn't use the kitchen, so I can't speak to that. I recommend packing noise-canceling headphones for anyone who will be staying in the front bedroom (with the green carpet). Someone else in the building woke us up around 1:30am and was listening to something loud above us, so we ended up moving to the back bedroom. If you need all three bedrooms, though, you may need something to block out noise. ”

Upon arrival, our group shoveled the entire path to access it, only to discover that the hot tub was completely empty. We immediately contacted the host & THEN we were notified that we wouldn’t have the hot tub for the entire trip. This was incredibly poor……

“The cabin has a modern yet cozy aesthetic. Everything was clean. The hot tub, shuffle board, ping pong and pool table were great and kept us busy for the times we just wanted to stay in.
