“We had a wonderful time at The Red Sunset of Guanacaste! The house is amazing, the views are spectacular and the host, Patrick, was so so helpful! And we can’t say enough about the wonderful delicious healthy breakfasts that Lisa and Mar made every day. Each day Patrick helped with our plans , sometimes arranging in advance. He also had terrific recommendations for dinner, we all loved the evening at Gingerbread Restaurant, a superb dining experience.Can not say enough good things , thank you……

“Absolutely gorgeous property with an amazing wrap-around porch and spectacular views. I was not expecting the winding drive around Lake Arenal, if you get motion sickness come prepared. Easy access to Tilaran where you can get everything you need, cool little butcher and mini-market down the road to supply your stay if you dont want to drive into Tilaran. The house had a few hornets nests that once we notified the property manager they sent someone to take care of them immediately. The only……

Attended to our smallest need We started thinking of him as a good friend who was always watching out for us to make sure our stay was memorable and comfortable And the bungalow ….. dont know where to start and where to end Nested on the top of the hill overlooking Lake Arenal……

“What a great stay for exploring around Liberia! Amazing hosts we would love to see again some day. Eladio gave us a great wildlife tour, definitely recommend taking one! Kids and parents enjoyed the huge pool. Though technically shared with the other rental on site you wouldn’t know it. Surrounded by trees, flowers, and colorful birds with iguanas hanging out at the pool with us was perfect and a great welcome to Costa Rica. Pura vida!”

“This location is a bird watching, listening, paradise. The cabins are surrounded by lush vegetation and trees. The owner Cede is very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed here Friday Nov. 8, 2024 and were the only guest due to the rainy season. Would love to return when it is NOT raining. The rooms were clean and spacious. A great place to stay and easy to get to with good roads. We toured the chocolate farm……
