「This property is as advertised on VRBO. We enjoyed the privacy and views from the property of a pond, trees and grass. Lots of space for the two of us. Owner communication was excellent. We would stay again. 」

「We wished there had been a fan in the cabin because it got a little stuffy at night and we wished the sink was a bit bigger as it was hard to wash hands or brush teeth in it. Overall we enjoyed our stay!」

「No check-in - just walked in and made ourselves at home. The kitchen was very well equipped and as with all trailers and boats so efficiently aranged that it was a pleasure to use. Plentiful windows (with blinds easy to open/close) and a skylight let in ample light making the little place feel more spacious and a part of the outdoors. This place was called "Fawn House" and indeed earns its name. The little deer and their moms visit often. There is also an eagle's nest near by. The wonders!」

「Although the exterior does not look fancy, the interior is surprisingly nice, spacious and well decorated. Bedrooms, bathrooms are very clean. On top of the property condition, the location is very convenient, Safeway and the pier are within walking distance. Highly recommend this property.」

「It has a rustic charm. The great hall was lovely and had many interesting items to look at. We enjoyed drinking our coffee on the deck outside our room, and meeting the resident ducks and chickens, as well. We hope to be back someday!」

「Beautiful manicured setting overlooking a magnificent lagoon and beyond the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Protection Island National Wildlife Refuge, and the San Juan Islands and Mt Baker are visible.Everything about this house makes you want to spend time there. It’s a multiple year vacation choice for us and we’ve booked 2026 already. There is no nicer place to stay on VRBO if you like quiet, an incomparable setting and a well designed, very comfortable house. The Best. 」

「This is our annual third year. Check in was excellent & easy with key pad. Love having huge deck & be able dock our boat. We jumped tons on the diving board, always big hit. The tree house is great where my husband & I stay with sink/toilet. The main house with two bedrooms & bathroom with shower our kids & grandkids stay. House leans but you get used to it very well stocked. Loved kayaks. Only thing would change is the both mattresses in main house. Tree house mattress very comfortable....

"It was beautiful right next to the beach. Front desk staff were super nice! The only thing I have to complain about is the housekeeping. It was around 9:30AM when the housekeeper knocked and scanned her card without waiting for a response from us. She tried to come in and I screamed “ someone’s still in here” and she left. I didn’t care about it the first time but she came AGAIN in half an hour or so and tried to come in again. It would been a pleasant stay if the housekeeper was well managed and let them know which rooms are empty and not. Overall it was a good experience as for the location. "
