「The apartment was exactly as listed. We found it to be the perfect place to stay for our visit to the New River Gorge. Very quiet, very clean without the use of scents. We are sensitive to fabric softeners and other similar products. The couch and king-size mattress were very comfortable after a long day of hiking.Would stay again.」

「The property is located right across from Hawks Nest State Park. The neighborhood is quiet. You can sit on the front porch or out back on the patio or up by the fire pit. We saw deer, birds and heard a fox at night. The house is clean, comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. The beds are very comfortable. Great drawer and closet space too! 「Our 3 kids, my wife, and I spent our 3 days together here while we visited around New River Gorge National Park. We enjoyed it. This property is in a great location. If you are visiting the New River Gorge National Park with family, then it is great. 」

「We needed a dog friendly place to base our New River Gorge trip and this fit the bill. Plenty of room and everything went smoothly. No dishwasher so you'll have to hand wash any dishes you use but that's not a huge issue. The window unit air conditioners worked well enough we were quite comfortable.I would add that you are parking in front of the left hand garage door but you are staying in the main house. The keypad is on the back sun room door. 」

「We loved this house, so much character. The owner was so sweet and helpful. We cooked and ate our meals here (you can even do a grocery pickup at the Kroger which is not far away). We loved listening to the river, and truly just enjoyed our stay. We would definitely come back!」

「This rental was very nice. We were able to watch the deer wander into the yard and graze almost daily. Secluded enough to relax after a long day of rafting/activities, but close enough to several stores and gas stations to be convenient. Host was fast to respond to any questions. We will be looking to book thisfor this rental our next trip!」
