“AMAZING property and home. Our host, Shawna, was equally amazing. Great communication that truly showed the priority was for guests to have a wonderful experience. The house was extremely clean, with a very well stocked kitchen, that is gorgeous. Very cozy and welcoming, with a spacious, comfortable living room/dining space. Great floorplan. We have small dogs and Shawna had extra treats, toys and a comfy bed to welcome them also. The area is beautiful with an abundance of restaurants, shopping……

“This apartment is very clean and has a cozy feel; the host was also very responsive and friendly. I cooked in the kitchen and it had all the utensils I needed, and it even had an electric kettle—most places don’t provide for tea drinkers like me! Be aware, though, that the apartment opens almost directly onto a street that large trucks sometimes drive by on, and that there is a back door into a business hallway which only locks with a handle lock (not a deadbolt). “We had an amazing, peaceful, and private stay—just what we wanted! The location was great and very close to everything decorah has to offer! The fall colors were beautiful and definitely showing off for us. We ended up using the air mattress to sleep on and that worked out really well for us as the back of the futon wasn’t very comfortable, but great for sitting! We were never able to find the trails that led down to the bottom of the Quarry, but that’s ok. We didn’t need to talk to the owners……
