「The house is beautiful, and the location felt perfect for us. We enjoyed relaxing on the second floor balcony (even doing a little astrophotography!), going to the nearby beaches, and taking day trips out to Hilo and the Volcanoes National Park! I couldn't have asked for a better home base. They also had a good stock of cookware, so we were able to cook most of our meals which saved us both money and travel time for food. This place was really a treat!」

「We arrived just before sunset.Ron's directions were spot on. Keep your eyes open for the red gravel driveway. The place was spotless and very spacious. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances. Farm sink, mini frig and 2 burner hot plate. The bathroom was beautifully done with a chiseled stone sink with rain shower and beautiful tile and river rock. Definitely rock. base. Plenty of water」

「This house is out there. If you are curious about what living off grid would be like, this is a chance to experiment. The walk out to the cliff to see the ocean was amazing. We were able to explore Volcanoes NP from here and the surrounding towns. The night sky is amazing.」
