"My husband and I loved everything about this place. It was super clean and had thoughtful touches. Alot of effort went in to making sure this place is top notch; you will not be disappointed. We highly recommend making a 20 minute drive to the Hext Trading Post in Menard for some great burgers and enjoyable conversation and don't forget breakfast at the Willow Creek Cafe. The perfect ending to our stay was the deer in the yard the next morning. "

"We stayed with a large group. The area is secluded enough to stargaze in peace. We Slept well and hung out in the pool every evening. Kitchen had all the tools needed to cook and the game room was great to entertain. The host was very communicative and helpful. We plan to make this a reoccurring location for this trip. "

I only wish the window the was in front of the bed ( above the living room chair) had dark tint or some sort of covering because when the sun came up, it made it hard to sleep past 7am. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. I would just bring a sleep mask "

"We were in town for a funeral, unfortunately. We didn’t have the kids with us, but we’d love to stay here again with the kids as well. We only used the main house, but we did look at the casita and tiny homes; and they were all cute. Gorgeous property and great location! "

"My husband and I loved the quiet and peacefulness of this place. We found it homey and inviting and loved the two full porches on the outside of the house. This location in Harper is conveniently located halfway to a lot of nearby destinations. For example, Frederiskburg is only 24 miles away! The hosts, Brent and Veronica, were responsive and very welcoming. If you're looking for a place to unwind and 'get away', yet still be centrally located to destination spots, you can't beat the price...
