"The staff were wonderful and are the #1 reason I would stay here again. They were so friendly and accomodating. We had 2 rooms in the same hallway as the pool, so the floor was constantly soaked and slippery during pool hours. It was pretty noisy being so close to the pool, but we didn't mind because we also had kids in our group. The pool area was extremely hot and highly chlorinated, making it difficult to breathe. Better ventilation would make this so much better. The pool itself is very small for the speed and distance in which the kids were shooting out of the water slide. Very fun, but not very safe. Breakfast was decent, but serving utensils could be checked and replaced with clean ones to avoid cross contamination. The DIY waffle bar was a lovely option. The rooms are a nice size, clean and mostly well-maintained, but kind of dark even with all of the lights on unless you keep the curtains open, but being a ground floor room everyone can see in. Better lighting would brighten up the space without giving everyone outside a view into your room. A few updates could make this hotel a lot better, but I would still stay here again."

"This is our third summer stay and we're happy to be back. Rooms are clean and spacious, there's excellent water pressure in the shower, the Nespresso machines in the room provide a delicious beverage each morning, and the underground parking is handy and safe. One notable feature: the breakfast staff are outstanding. Friendly, warm, helpful, they bring lots of sunshine to the guests and the meal. I noticed a few guests greeting breakfast staff by name - where else would that happen? It's such a highlight of our visits and I complimented the staff each morning to let them know how much I appreciated them."

"This is the kind of place you love to find when traveling. Not a fancy place but a place with owner/hosts that care. Davis and Sarah were super friendly and served a basic breakfast with the exception Sarah cooked your eggs just how you wanted them. When we 1st arrived Davis came to our room to explain the fab system and to show how the TV worked. The bed was super comfortable. The AC was a bit loud but worked great. The room wasn't fancy but it was clean. There was a table and outlets on each side of the bed. The sink was small. I was extra careful taking a shower as the tub felt a little slippery. The internet was slow at times (we were pretty far from the office so maybe a repeater is needed). I dont know if we will pass this way again but I would look forward to staying at the Pine Cone Inn again. This isnt a fancy hotel or chain but just a couple living out their dream and offering great service."
