「This was a different hotel experience for me. Really it's kind of an apartment building where they took part of one floor and made 8-10 hotel rooms out of it. You have a key to get into the building and your own code to get into the lobby and rooms. It's on kind of a side street ... but near the Main Street of Rue de France that leads to 1,000 restaurants and the old city. 「Little hiccup getting checked in. Yes the Management company did send info on check in process, but it was an email sent 5 MONTHS before we arrived. Would have been nice to get a refresh a few days prior. Anyway, great location, comfy bed, nice modern unit. Right in the heart of old town with small grocery store steps from unit. 」

He arranged a private transfer from Nice Airport and met us on arrival to help us find the apartment. Then he took us on an orientation walk around the immediate environs pointing out local bakeries, butchers etc, plus some good places for eating out.
