“This was our 3rd stay at the Ice House at White Fate Farm. As always, the rustic Ice House cabin was cozy, peaceful, and a comfortable summer getaway from the city. The little kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. The foldout bed in the livingroom was comfortable enough for my teen son, while the bedroom in the loft is very comfy. “We stayed in July to kayak on the water. We brought our own kayaks. Clean, clear water with many waterlilies. Rental property was exactly as described. Had a great stay. Communication with owners was excellent. ”

“Our occasional get together of old college friends was perfectly suited to this location - ample bedrooms / bathrooms, large kitchen, dining and living room. Nice central location for friends coming in from NJ, NH, MA and CT. Property was clean and well-kept, and a person shoveled the snow before we even got outside the next morning. Thanks again, Dan.”

“The property was a 5 minute walk from downtown area and the interior of the apartment was clean, modern and comfortable. Definitely recommend it!”

“The real draw for us was the proximity to Foxwoods and the fenced in yard for my son to run and play. We were pleased to find the house just as described: a bit rustic but charming and with plenty of space for us to spread out. The hosts were communicative and helpful. We didn’t have time to make use of the kayaks/pond but the kids enjoyed a s’mores night at the fire ring, and were treated to a gorgeous display of fireflies at sundown. The only caveat I would say is that it is a hard place for……

There was one gentleman that was very blunt and rude with his words. I unfortunately dealt with him prior to my visit, via phone, and once I got there.
