"The host was very pleasant and quick to respond to our questions. The cottage was very clean. We have a very large dog and she was welcomed without any issue . Turkey Point is 2 hours from Brampton so not a problem getting there. The view from our sitting room was absolutely beach inviting. We could almost throw a stick from the front door to the water for the dog, you could not ask for anything better.. "What a delightfully unique spot! Each room in the house is filled with interesting items and conversation pieces. Lynne and Lou are wonderful hosts. We arrived early evening and enjoyed the bright and inviting salon and the very comfortable bedrooms. We had a lovely visit in the large, yet cozy, library after a delicious breakfast in the antique filled dining room. This gem is worth checking out!"

"Overall our trip was just ok and was disappointing I a few different areas. There were so some things the owner couple definitely improve on like making sure there was firewood, not just leftover scraps he didn’t use around the buildings, we had to email him and someone brought us wood. Plugging in the fridge knowing you had the bunkie rented( we drove 3 hours to a very small warm fridge), having the port-o-john beside us that looked like it was never cleaned out(not usable) , having a supply of toilet paper in the main washroom and shower area. The mattress should definitely be updated to something you don’t sink into would also be a bonus. Signage was also an issue to let you know where to go in the bush. They were to small and in bushes to see properly. I have camped my whole life and must say yes I was disappointed. Add indicated 15 minutes from town but more like 30. Just a bit more inconvenient when going to a festival."

"Lovely place by the water. We were disappointed that the hot tub was closed for the summer but there was no mention on the listing to indicate that. Otherwise a great cute little spot to enjoy the beach. Clean, had the essential kitchen stuff we needed, nice grill, awesome location. The backyard was really great - felt private and a lovely view of the woods. Note for other folks: bring blankets in addition to sheets and, if making a fire, bring firewood / kindling and an axe."
