    Please make sure to pack your own linens and towels!
    Fresh mattress cover and two(2) pillows are provided with pillow covers
    Towels, bedsheets, blankets and pillowcases will NOT be provided.

    This cottage has its own wrap around (L Shape) patio! You have access to your own barbecue and fire pit! FIREWOOD IS NOT INCLUDED, many places near by sell firewood!


    Turkey Point offers a small grocery store, LCBO and MacDonald Marina.
    Port Dover is just a 15 minute drive away.

We had a fantastic stay at this cottage in Turkey Point. The inside has been beautifully renovated and was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The views of the lake were beautiful, and the location couldn't have been better. Everything was within easy walking distance, making it easy to enjoy the beach, shops, and the surrounding area without needing to drive. The exterior is a little more dated than the inside, but it didn't take away from our experience at all. The host was amazing—friendly, responsive, and genuinely cared that we had a great stay. As an added bonus, the restaurant next door serves excellent food, making it even more convenient to relax and enjoy the area. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place to enjoy Turkey Point.

We enjoyed our time at the cottage. Pros - It was a really short walk to the beach. It seemed like a really new kitchen and recent bathroom update, nice flooring, even a new toaster and coffee maker. The host Richard was very responsive and nice. Very close to a busy restaurant, a good one though, so that might be considered both a pro and a con. Truth is I spent most of my time enjoying the beach, and it was lovely and quiet this time of year. Everyone we met, including the neighbours on both sides, were super nice. Cons-no screen on the patio doors and the deck was kind of rough. No fan in the bathroom and window won't open and no curtains on the entrance door or kitchen windows..felt a bit exposed. Also, the cleaning was certainly not impeccable, not gross, but not that thorough. As someone who has been doing commercial cleaning for a decade, I saw several opportunities for improvement. All of that being said, I would consider renting it again in the future.
