「Great location, with only a short walk to the beach. We had a room that went straight out to the pool that was convenient for the kids. It was quiet here which was nice. The only down side was limited parking, we did have a parking space for our room but someone else parked there, although the staff did arrange for the car to be moved. There was not a lot of space to turn around a large vehicle. 」

「Our host Bill was extremely helpful and kind and nothing was too much trouble for him. The accommodation had all the creature comforts we were hoping for and the attention to detail was superb. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to our friends.」

「Great location near the water front. It’s a nice walk along the beach walkway to town. Very comfortable… would recommend to those traveling with families and children. The apartment is spacious and there is an outdoor space too. 」

「We stayed in Treetops at the Abri Apartments for five nights towards the end of a six week trip to NZ and it was ideal. Set back from the main drag with views out across the water to Russell and an apartment with just about everything you could want set in lovely gardens. Helen was a great host and our stay was really relaxed. If you’re going to Paihia (and it makes a great base for the Bay of Islands) then book this early and enjoy the time there even more. 」

「This is our second stay for our bi-annual Aunties & Niece's weekend. There was 20 of us, beds for everyone, 4 bathrooms, and plenty of sharing space to gather, great tables for sitting together, and great outdoor spaces too. Also just a hop skip and jump to go for a swim, followed by a warm outdoor shower. Everything you need is catered for, hard to beat.」
