"The property was clean, neat and we had everything we needed. We chose this because it did not have amenities and we did not want them. We needed a place to sleep and shower. Had fridge & microwave. No coffee in room or pool or weight room. Room was quiet and had AC. Location was good. Was between a Burger King and a Wendy's, so there were places to eat. Gas station across the street. Good central location to other businesses. Didn't see any point in staying places much higher for things we don't use. Only probably was getting them to answer in the lobby. Needed extra roll of toilet tissue and towels. Both times just happened to see the cleaner and told her what we needed. Needs were met. Would stay again as reasonably priced."

"Every thing about Fred was great. Room, staff , location, restaurant n most importantly the house kitty. Would recommend this place. I stay at many 5 stars hotels from ritz , Fairmont , peninsula, Athena all beautiful. Fred is quaint , sweet n homely w touch of class."

"This was the perfect space for two people to enjoy Arrow Rock. We could walk to everything in town. While food options are limited, the few there are all excellent. We enjoyed playing some cards on the screened in porch. We didn’t get to see a performance at the town theater, but we did get to see a locally filmed short film debut there. All the folks in town were very friendly and the town is adorable. Our stay was great across the board. We could have used a couple wine glasses, but made due with other glasses in the well stocked kitchen. This definitely was the least demanding vrbo - no to do list for the end of the stay. We didn't see a guestbook of any kind with any instructions or suggestions. Hopefully from our other stays, we left things as expected. We would definitely go back and stay at the cottage and Arrow Rock!"

"This adorable cottage is so tastefully updated! Every aspect was top notch and high quality. The owners thought of everything and provided such a welcoming vibe filled with extras so many other rentals don't offer. The only thing I couldn't find was a hairdryer.I chose this place based just on photos, and the property is even more lovely. That is rare! We knew nothing about Arrow Rock - what an incredible location and treasure. We were there Monday-Tuesday, so most places except the Visitor Center were closed. But we still loved being immersed in history. Our little getaway was perfect!"
