“We keep coming back because this has become our pup’s favorite staycation spot. He loves the large yard, watching the trails from the windows, and exploring the nearby beach and hiking trails with us.The home is simple, comfortable, and has everything needed for a few days away. During our last stay, the yard had become overgrown with foxtails, which can be dangerous for dogs. The owners responded quickly and sent a gardener, but the clippings were left behind, so we weren’t comfortable letting……

“The best thing was parking. It was super easy. As long as no other car take up the designated parking spot in front of the grass (which no one did). I rented a car, and I mean, if you're visiting the Bay Area you should rent a car. The main issue I had was that the shower drain was clogged. Other than that, it's a studio and felt like a studio. It was also a bit annoying that there was a sign that you could only use 1 of each of the following at a time: the coffee machine, the microwave, and……

“Stunning views (when it's not foggy), sleepy town, really steep hill to get there, minimally equipped, horrible property management company / disconnected owner! I'm moving from Atlanta to Silicon Valley, so I'm trying to learn the different areas and, oddly enough, their microclimates, by staying in different properties. This was one of the less pleasant experiences and I would NOT recommend this property. Pacifica can be stunningly gorgeous with an overlook of the ocean from this property,……

“Pet friendly, nice quiet neighborhood next to the beach.”

“The hotel is fairly new, clean, and very conveniently located. The only downside is that it can be a bit loud if your room is next to the train tracks. During my first two nights, I was woken up in the middle of the night by trains honking as they passed by, though I eventually got used to it. Despite that, I would still choose to stay here again, but I’d recommend requesting a room as far from the train tracks as possible for a better night’s sleep.”
