“5 Fishermen visiting Sitka a few days prior to staying in a Lodge, needed a place to stay for 2 nights and this place fit our needs perfectly. Great kitchen for this cook and near new BBQ steps away, it was the perfect setup. Hiking trail system that connects Sitka is out the front door, very convenient. You'll need a rental car for this unit, but I'd recommend that for anyone visiting Sitka for a couple of days. I'd definitely recommend this unit, very friendly and helpful owners, great unit, ”

“Our family of 9 stayed here for a week! The house is fabulous—we didn’t want to leave. We utilized the hot tub, sauna, fire pit and grill. We invited friends from town over for fresh Halibut and Salmon we caught. They told us they had all been to the house for a wedding or some function. It’s definitely a Sitka landmark. (We saw a bear and multiple bald eagles through the binoculars! ) Highly recommend this house! ”

“This home on Japonski Island is a short walk into Sitka. It was amazing! Along with the constant views of beautiful Alaska out the walls of windows, this home is sparkly clean. Amenities are organized and plentiful. We were so comfortable that it was hard to leave! The owner was easy to contact and helpful. This property will not disappoint. “The location is close to a lot of restaurants and shops. Nice area to walk to lake and harbor. The room was clean and it was nice to have a washer and dryer. Plenty of towels but could have had more wash cloths.”

“Absolutely gorgeous accommodations with stunning view and convenient location. Only issue was the noise. Street noise was a bit annoying, but the loud music at night from the bar next door that continued until 2am made it hard to sleep. Regardless still rated a 5 because the spot was that amazing. ”
