“The property served our needs for a one night stay in Caroga Lake. Finding the place was a bit of a nightmare. We had no wireless service in the area and the host did not provide very good directions. As we had no cell phone service, we could not call the host. We ended up going to the pist office and we were fortunate that a gentleman who was picking up his mail helped direct us to the unit otherwise we would have never found it. “One of the best trips my family has ever taken! The caboose is charming with amazing views and plenty of furry company. The house was clean and the yard/fire pit area was spectacular. The only negative is the water smells a bit funky, but that should not be a deterrent because this trip is so special. Do not miss out, book the caboose!!”

“This was my first time booking a property on Vrbo and the whole family (2 teen boys) was just thrilled with our stay. It had all the things we love about camping but didn’t get a chance to do this summer — grilling, sitting around a fire, beautiful riverfront view, tons of room to run around and play frisbee, volleyball, etc. Super cozy and clean inside and stocked with everything we needed. “Great place to stay! It worked out perfectly for me and my niece. Got a pocket full of diamonds. Although being 60 the stairs were quite a climb, especially coming from Florida where I haven’t used steps in years lol. Melanie was awesome and very accommodating. I would recommend staying there. It was cute and quaint.”
