“We loved this campsite! Staff were welcoming and friendly, bungalow was clean and spacious with lovely views from the balcony. The site was lovely and peaceful in natural surroundings and beautiful scenery. River views from the pool area were just amazing. Pool area nice but we didnt get to use unfortunately.
There were goats roaming around freely and one had just given birth to their baby just before we arrived! We took a walk down through the woodland via the path right below the site. The……

“Beautiful historic manor house that was tastefully decorated. Excellent value for money comfortable stay. Friendly staff. It's a privilege to have access to this beautiful historic home. Although it was old, it had a fresh interior & was in very good condition. Our bedroom was large, we had a very comfortable bed and lovely spacious ensuite bathroom. “Quinta de Recião has numerous properties. This review is for the one-bedroom cottage (Casa do Moinho - the Mill House)
The Mill House is a beautiful property, hosted by beautiful people. The main room has kitchen, table, lounge, small TV and a fire. The separate bedroom has two single beds with an adjoining bathroom.
The cottage sits right on the edge of the Rio Varosa (Varosa River) and the sound of running water is peaceful and calming.

“This is a super house to stay in, 10 minutes walk to a great beach with a bar and at the weekends kayaks and paddle boards to hire. There is also plenty of shade.The house itself is well equipped and comfortable.Miguel is a perfect host and is very speedy in his communication.It is by itself and very quiet. Our adult family had a great time staying here.”
