The apartment was spacious, impeccably clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is superb - it's just a 2-minute walk across the road to the lake, yet the motel itself is very quiet and peaceful, away from the crowds at the lakeside. I will absolutely be returning to stay there on my next visit to Taupo.”

“the hotel provided me a two bedroom apartment duo to I was the last person to check-in. It was a short stay. “We had a wonderful stay at the Lorne Apartments (extended our stay). We had a son in the hospital and it was so convenient as less than a 5 min walk there. Room was well equipped and everything looked new and clean. Staff were friendly. Internal walls are a little thin re noise and can be noisy when helicopters fly into the hospital but didn’t wake us or stop us sleeping. V bad smell out front from sewerage system in neighbouring park but no smell in our unit. Would recommend staying here if……
