Our room smelled like dogs, and our friends’ room smelled like swampy mildew. There was black mold in both showers. There are no microwaves in the room, although there is one in the commons area. The restaurant part of the lodge makes delicious food though.

Nice inexpensive place to stay with an attached bar. In walking distance of a gas station, bakery and a restaurant. Beds are on the small side and rooms are a bit outdated. Overall we had a good experience and was pretty much what we expected for the price.

The whole place was clean, the food was good, but the staff made it next level. Our housekeeper found us in the restaurant because we’d left something in our room and the bartender was inviting and warm.

The room was clean, the property was relatively quiet, the staff was friendly and helpful at the bar relating to the room. The restaurant bar is nice with decent food. Pet friendly is a plus! Close to the lake, a nice walking trail to town, and if you are a side by side person the trail is right out front.
