I stayed at the Sunlac to be close to an event I was attending. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. One area of concern is that the side entry door did not have a lock so anyone could walk in through the hallway and down to the bar. As a solo traveler, that felt unsafe.

When I drove up to the Motel, I was not so happy with the choice. Very rough looking outside. Nothing had been picked up in quite a while. The first set of double doors didn't close all the way, and the entry was a mess. Looked like it hadn't been vacuumed for a long time. After I got in my opinion changed. Seemed clean and the clerk was nice and helpful. The room was also clean and fine by me. A little outside clean up might help in attracting more customers.

Very pleasant place to spend the night, with restaurant and bar right there. I’d say it’s a bit dated, beds definitely need an upgrade but all in all with the friendly environment and as hot meal being served till around 9 pm I’d for sure stay again
