I loved staying at the Bliss Dhigurah! At first I was a little apprehensive because it is not a fancy schmancy resort like those that exist on other islands, but I settled in quickly and was very pleased by the accommodations, the staff, and of course, the beach! Please be prepared for no beach chairs or umbrellas (I was lucky to have found a hammock every day). There is a smattering of chairs along the beach but some look like they have been on the beach for decades. I had full board and was very pleased with the food at Hermits. I liked the fact that I didn’t have to think about meals. There are a few restaurants around the hotel but everything is quite expensive (as it is the Maldives, where EVERYTHING is expensive). They also offer excellent daily excursions. I did the Snorkeling Safari and was very happy. Be prepared to swim a lot and potentially get sunburn on your bum! The communication with the hotel was excellent and I felt at ease with all the travel steps it would take to get to Dhigurah. The room was small but comfortable and had a little balcony to dry your towels and swimsuits. I would highly recommend staying at the Bliss Dhigurah and if I ever make it back to the Maldives in the future, would stay there again.

Un séjour inoubliable. Accueil des plus chaleureux tout est organisé par l'hôtel pour arriver à bon port. Nous avons pris un vol intérieur et un speed boat pour arriver sur notre île. Nous recommandons dhigurah c'est une île extraordinaire bien placée pour faire du snorkeling nous avons vu à 10 mètres du bord de l'eau une nature Marine exceptionnelle et préservée aussi bien par la faune que par la flore. L'hôtel organise les sorties snorkeling, raie Manta et requin baleine, dauphins, tortues. Trois journées à faire pour voir des êtres exceptionnels dans leur milieu naturel loin de la foule nous avions des recommandations pour ne pas les perturber. De plus l'hôtel nous à offer les photos qu'a réalise notre accompagnatrice lors des sorties. Nous y sommes allés hors saison pour le calme et c'est l'endroit idéal, le matin la plage était pour nous, nous avons fait le tour de l'île à pied une journée paradisiaque par sa beauté sable blanc et cocotiers et seuls au monde. De plus les habitants sont très accueillants si nous respectons leur mode de vie, nous nous sommes délecter à manger les plats typiques qui sont servis au restaurant de l'hôtel l'HERMITS ou dans les restaurants locaux. Les rues de Dhigurah sont de sable et il n'y a pas de véhicules, seule les deux et les triporteurs à majorité électriques circulent. Nous ne parlons pas anglais et nous avons eu de la chance de trouver du personnel parlant français ou espagnol comme le boss SOFIENE, MARLOU ou CAMILLE. Merci a tous

Nous avons passé 8 jours incroyable à l'hôtel Bliss. Tout le personnel est aux petits soins et vous cocoone pour que vous passiez le meilleur des voyages. La restauration est excellente. Absolutely amazing!

This was such an amazing experience !!! We are already jealous of everyone who will stay in this wonderful hotel. 1. The staff is so great, always willing to help, they treat you like a family. 2. The food was one of the best we´ve ever eaten. We decided for half board and were thrilled after every breakfast/dinner. 3. The accommodation. Our standard room offered everything we needed, they cleaned it every day, always changed the towels and left us a bottle of water. 4. The roof. Such a good vibes come to you when you chill in the jacuzzi, or just enjoying the sunset while smoking a shisha. 5. The trips. Every day there is a list of upcoming trip - fishing, snorkeling and so on. We were on sunrise fishing and we had an excellent time. Also the cook prepared for us for dinner the fish we catch and it was delicious! 6. Dhigurah island is very nice island with the most beautiful beaches. We 100% recommend staying at Bliss and thanks for everything! :)

Bester Ort zum Übernachten in Dhigurah

Wir waren 4 Tage im November in Dhigurah. Das gesamte Bliss Team war vor und während unseres Aufenthalts sehr, sehr hilfsbereit. Das Essen im Restaurant war gut, sicherlich der Place to be im sonst eher verschlafenen Dhigurah. Wenn die Abendkarte gewechselt hätte, wäre das toll gewesen. Auch mussten wir unsere Matratze auf den Boden des kleinen Zimmers stellen, um Nachts schlafen zu können - die Klimaanlage direkt über dem Bett bei einem solch kleinen Zimmer hätte uns sonst eine Erkältung beschert. Leider war es auch sehr laut in dem Zimmer, so gut wie durchgängig gab es alle paar Sekunden ein ebenso sekundenlanges Geräusch (wohl von der Klimaanlage oder Wasserpumpe?), was außerhalb des Zimmers im gesamten Bliss ohrenbetäubend zu hören war. Davon abgesehen, dass wir froh waren, bei unserer Weiterreise auf der nächsten Insel ein ruhiges und größeres Zimmer zu haben, war das tollste bei unserem Aufenthalt, die Schnorcheltour beim Bliss, bei der wir mehrere Walhaie beobachten konnten - ein unvergessliches Erlebnis!

Bliss was an amazing escape for my wife and I! Anne and the staff were helpful and attentive to all the needs of their guests, the property was super clean and accessible (like 1 minute to the beach) and they made it feel as though we were at home. Upon check-in, we were greeted with fresh coconuts and clean face towels (really nice touch!) The restaurant staff even learned what kind of coffee we liked and it was promptly placed on my table in the mornings. The dinner menu was exceptional and well presented. It was comparable to eating at the Six Seasons or Intercontinental. The organized snorkel tours were professional and well guided. We left completely enamoured by the natural world of the Maldivian oceans, albeit convicted that we need to do better overall to protect nature and reduce our carbon contribution, especially given coral bleaching and declining specie-diversity around the world. The overall experience with Bliss was incredible and we will definitely be returning and recommending Bliss to anyone that wants to visit the local culture of Maldives. Thank you all for making our trip so memorable.

Like in 5 stars resort, but not so crowded...

One of the best places to stay in Dhigurah, a great choice of meal in the restaurant, great possibility for activities - diving, snorkeling trips, water ski, etc. We felt us like in good 5 stars resort or even better. The staff was excellent. Near the hotel is a well-equipped beach with hammocks and sunbeds. But just one thing - limited, but very fast internet connection via the mobile network. You gen 2240 MB for 1 devise (2 codes for 2 devices) for 1 week. Extra - you need to pay 10 USD for each 5 GB, so, probably better to buy 17G for 30 USD in the airport (or 34 GB for 50 USD) or even more bandwidth. The price will be almost the same, but you can connect everywhere on the Maldives via the fast 4G network.

Der Aufenthalt im Bliss war außergewöhnlich durch die Freundlichkeit aller Mitarbeiter, besonders durch Buphi und Watchi, ebenso an den hervorragenden Koch. Das Essen schmeckt vorzüglich und ist absolut das Beste auf der Insel. Ebenfalls ist zu erwähnen, dass angebotene Schnorcheltouren gut organisiert mit geschulten Guides durchgeführt werden. The staff made us feel like family. It was hard to say good bye at the end. The experience was well worth it. We had came from a resort previously but the experience here was so much better. Beyond the great stay we really enjoyed meeting the other travelers. We snorkeled and saw whale sharks and enjoyed meals with the same group multiple days and that too made the experience. I am not one to normally write reviews but the experience was so special that I felt I needed to to give the hotel the support they deserve. I just hope the island doesn’t get too overbuilt because I want the experience to be the same next time we are back.

Le Bliss Hotel est situé sur une île habitée aux Maldives, ce qui permet de pouvoir découvrir la culture locale, et de mixer avec des plages inouïes juste à quelques mètres de l’hotel. Cette île n’est ouverte aux étrangers que depuis 2010 et est en cours de développement, preuve en est les nombreux travaux notamment aux alentours de l’hôtel. Le rapport qualité / prix semble tout à fait correct, le restaurant est excellent.

Dhigurah is a stunning island. And Bliss Dhigurah is the icing on the cake. The staff are wonderful. They take the time to get to know guests. You really do get to feel like family. Care is everywhere. A wonderful staf. Highly recommended.
