“If you move in and find a lot of bugs, I have a good method to get rid of them without having to do it by hand. You can catch the bugs in the trash can and flush them down the toilet. But it's difficult to flush the bug corpses out of the room's toilet.”

“The Horse Cave Motel was a pleasant surprise. A standard older style motel in a small town that felt alot like home. I grew up in a small town, so it was fun to revisit an older style, well maintained motel. The owners were very friendly, helpful and visibly worked very hard daily to clean and maintain the property. Very helpful and definitely a family affair! Our room was clean, the double beds were very comfortable, and plenty of room for our dog kennels to be set up for our stay. Lots of……

“Property was average. Employees were nice. Entrance Door to room was very loose and not sealed very good. Door moved in and out over 1/4 inch and 1/4 inch or more light could be seen at Door threshold. Fan in bathroom very noisy. Very good water pressure for baths.”

Also, I was initially unsure which room I would occupy. But everything got sorted out. “The bed sheets were not clean. Covered in both human and dog hair. Room was freezing. Looks to be an old converted shed sitting in a concrete pad. It was 5 degrees outside and we had a constant draft through the doors, windows, and cold air emitting straight from the floor. The home is old, which is no issue.
