We had a great time although cleanliness was an issue. Beer cans, nicotine patches, and cigars left from previous guests, poop on the toilet with no toilet paper in the bathroom, and the pool was murky. But over all the house was great and unique. Love the layout and the boat deck was beautiful.

Staff Work Retreat

The house grounds and pool area are beautiful and very relaxing with the Dickinson Bayou as a view. The home is older. The 4th bathroom was found outside near the pool and the water wasn't on. The master suite toilet area stall was missing a door. And the refrigerator was spotty. The owners were quick to send repair professionals when notified. Overall, my staff enjoyed the spacious home with the pool and watching fish jump in the bayou.

We arrived at the location at approximately 430 pm and several other family members arrived approximately 30 minutes later. When we conducted an initial walk-thru of the property, we were attempting to determine sleeping arrangements for our party when we noticed a series of issues throughout the house that clearly indicated the home had not been cleaned or prepped for our upcoming stay. Below is a laundry list of our observations:Dirty mildewed towels in a hall closet and a cabinet in the laundry roomMaster bedroom with fireplace had dirty sheets with what appeared to be head and pubic hair still on the fitted sheet and the top sheetIt does not appear that any of the bedding was washed; the beds were simply madeA butcher knife was found on the window sill off the eat in kitchenBar sink had an orangish red sticky substance in the basinAn empty can of white claw (alchoholic drink) was found in the laundry room on a shelfNone of the beds downstairs had pillow cases and two of the beds had no top sheets, only fitted sheetsThe overhead can lights in the living room do not workTwo empty water bottles near the driveway out back that contained an unknown brown liquidA piece of fruit (orange) was found on the floor in the bar area next to the refrigeratorOn the patio area of the loft apartment, there were water filled cups with cigarette butts in themThere was a used onion left on the bar in the BBQ deck areaThere were dirty dishes in the cupboard and multiple pieces
