What a pleasant surprise. We were initially concerned with being "out of town" but the distance to and drive the Dingle center was easy. Such a special experience to wake up in such a pleasant setting. The house was fully renovated recently. We were in Ire for two weeks with our family and stayed at a variety of establishments. Sheppard's was easily one of our favorite stops. Our host Rose was also pleasant and easy to work with. If we could have stayed another day anywhere we visited it would have been in Dingle Peninsula at Shepherds Rest. Meeting the lovely neighbor/farmer and his collie was an extra bonus!!

What a beautiful spot! Lovely location with views of surrounding hills and farms. Quiet and peaceful, just outside of town. Lovely house that was clean and cute, perfect for our group. It had an Irish farmhouse feel but with all the modern accommodations. We only stayed 2 nights but could have happily stayed longer. Thank you so much!
