Major problem with this hotel is they are currently in the middle of developing a second building a few doors down from the original one. Reception is open in the new building but as this is in the middle of a building sight it is not the easiest to find. Facilities are split between the new and the old buildings and you pretty much have to work them out for yourself. Checking out early isn't possible as the front desk is not manned until 8am. I can only hope that when the building work is finished things will improve. Having said all that the new hotel looks impressive inside and Dinkelsbuhl is really pretty.

This hotel is right in the heart of Dinkelsbuhl and was a perfect location for visitors to the town. They have a very nice restaurant where we had dinner and they also provided a custom breakfast in the morning. The room was spacious, comfortable, and updated. No air conditioning because this is a historic building, but we didn't need it as the windows provided cooling in the evening. No elevator if that is a concern, but we didn't need that. It was wonderful staying in such a beautiful building and this is literally in the center of town. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Hotel
Great location in the centre of Dinkelsbühl old town. The rooms are huge and beautifully furnished with plush beds and modern bathrooms. Staff can’t do enough to help and are all very friendly. Breakfast is great, you choose some parts ahead of time so it’s ready when you come down and can add more whilst at the table. There is some on street parking available outside or they do have a garage that can be used on a daily rate; we just used one of the large municipal car parks just a short walk away instead. Wholeheartedly recommend and will definitely visit again!

The hotel is superbly located in the center of town. It oozes history, but despite its age and quirky layout, it is scrupulously maintained. The restaurant is also excellent. For the full Romantic Road experience, this is a great place to stay.

Beautiful building in a stunning town
Couldn't fault this hotel, lovely staff, amazing location, Staff parked the car for us and it was waiting for us when we checked out. Lovely breakfast and the rooms are fabulous. Can highly recommend a stay here.

This was a wonderful hotel and I highly recommend it. Large room, clean and modern with everything you need. The staff were wonderful and the breakfast is exceptional. If I had one quibble for such a great hotel I would say that they might want to consider some better towels as the ones they have are very thin. But that is just a minor quibble for me. Beautiful town and beautiful hotel.

A beautiful little building right in the heart of the old town. Great service workers and a great breakfast. The price was very reasonable. We all enjoyed our overnight stay in this town. Numerous restaurants are nearby including the hotel restaurant.

An amazing old hotel built in 1440 but tastefully renovated to incorporate the old with the new. Extremely helpful staff. Great restaurant in the hotel. A real secret for the price.

Dinkelsbühl hotel
This is my second time staying at this property and thoroughly enjoy it. The room is roomy and very clean. Great in house restaurant for dinner and breakfast.

I lovely stay in a small town, excellent service!
I had a very nice stay for business. The hotel owners were incredibly friendly and service oriented. I saw both a very nice room and a very basic room and both are very nice and well worth the cost. Breakfast in the morning is good and the service is very nice. Fried eggs are ALWAYS overcooked! Dinner and beer in the hotel restaurant are excellent, if not a little pricey compared to the area. Everyone speaks excellent English and goes out of their way to help in every way. You can tell this is a family business as it just has so much charm and they really care.

A striking old house in the centre of town. The dining room has a painted ceiling, lots of wood everywhere. The bedroom was large with a beautiful en-suite. There is a dining area outside and you can sit and watch the world go by. The staff were outstanding - nothing was too much trouble The food was of an extremely high standard and beautifully presented Having travelled most of the world, I would rate this hotel as one of the very bast I have visited

Awesome stay in Dinkelsbuhl!
Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it was wonderful. Room and bathroom was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. The staffs were friendly. Breakfast was great. Not a wide variety that you may find at a hyatt but food is fresh. Fresh baked croissants and variety of breads, meat cold cut selection, smoked salmon, yogurts and cereal and made to order eggs. The best part of breakfast is the server. The lady is just accommodating and personable. I would definitely come back.

Top quality hotel built in 1460, family owned and operated. Beautiful room, spacious & very comfortable bed. Our first choice when passing through Dinkelsbühl.

Hotel is right in the middle of town, centrally located. Historic building dating back to the 1400’s. During the day only one hour parking allowed inside the city wall. Hotel does offer valet parking for a daily fee. Room was a little disappointing. Third floor, steep stairs, no elevator. Bathroom needed improvement. Awkward arrangement with the shower in the tub and no shower curtain. Floor gets wet and slippery. Breakfast was good and the hotel restaurant perhaps the best in Dinkelsbuhl.

Classic and beautiful hotel
Excellent central location in an historic building that has been maintained in perfect German order and cleanliness. Large rooms and mine had a few of the beautiful large steepled church. I loved the bells ringing during the day. The restaurant in the hotel is said to be the best in town. I was very pleased with my three meals there. I’d really recommend Deutsches Haus highly.

Very nice hotel with great restaurant. Only negative was the street noise because of the cars on the cobblestone roads. Very courteous and helpful staff. Our party of four all enjoyed our meals there. Highly recommend this hotel.

Room size was average . Bathroom 1/2 shower was cramped. No amentiies/soap dish in shower meant having to bend over in shower to obtain soap and wash cloth. Very inconvenient. Hotel food was fancy but average. Good breakfast with eggs to order.
