We appreciated being able to select Room 115 to get all of the features and comforts we were looking for. Our room was clean, spacious, cozy, QUIET and comfortable. The shower was very nice too.
The location is perfect for touring the town and the restaurant is an added bonus! Have some great food and beer and walk up the stairs to your room afterwards.
Very clean, new and have very friendly customer service. Has a restaurant that opens quite long hours too

nice location, demand a parking pass!
Nice location, apparently you get a ticket for parking on the streets here. You need a parking permit. I asked the lady who showed us around to give us one more than once...nothing...instead, i received a ticket! You should not do this to your guest! The room was nice and comfortable. Staff was ok.
This gasthaus was the most impressive or our 10 day tour of southern Germany. Our room was large and with an impressive wood motif. VERY modern lighting, bath, shower, electronic outlets, great beds, very quiet, nice view of Dinkelsbuehl downtown.
The hotel is in a great location
It’s attached to a restaurant so it’s more like a guesthouse than a hotel
Downside though is there are no lifts so as we were on the top floor we had to carry bags up 4 flights of stairs
Other issue is the wi fi, it’s terrible but we think it’s more related to the area in general perhaps
Room was really clean and spacious, breakfast was ok too

Stop Over before a Race
Small room in a historical area with friendly staff.
We checked in in the late afternoon, and the bathroom smelled as if someone had just used it. No elevator - our room was three flights up, no offer of help with luggage, so the suitcases stayed in the car. No parking - find your own in the square or nearby streets and hope you don’t get ticketed. Good central location for strolling around town.
Place had top reviews and I was very disappointed. Room was like a dormitory with very narrow beds pushed together and only a table for furniture. Breakfast was sub par compared with other hotels on this trip. We had to go find staff to get coffee so I would say service was poor.Price was low and good value, but we have been staying at 100 euro price and got spoiled by better quality.
Everything about this hotel was above and beyond our expectations. The family room was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. The setting was straight out of a fairy tale movie. The hotel and room were spotless. The people were friendly and available. We cannot wait to return.
We spent one night at Gasthaus zur Sonne for one night whilst on a driving trip along the Romantic Road. We got a triple room and this was spacious for the 3 of us.
The room was modern and very clean and there was plenty of space for our bags. The bathroom was also a good size and the towels were of good quality.
Breakfast was really nice with the usual selections.
The hotel also has a lively bar area which was fun for a few drinks. Our room was very well soundproofed and we didn't hear any noise at all.
We parked on the street and had no problems getting a spot over the Easter holidays. Overall this was a good overnight stay in the centre of Dinkelsbuhl.
99% of visitors will be enchanted by the town wall
Very pleasant except town is still in denial over its behavior on 'crystal night' and towards the 'displaced persons' holding area within the walled town.
It's located on the Main Street of this small town. It is the most popular and crowded restaurant on the street. Their food is really, really good! Our room is big and clean. The decor is bright and sleek. The bathroom is big. Parking in the street is easy. The ground of the whole town is covered in cobble stone so it's not easy to roll our luggage bags.
Tolles Hotel !
Sehr freundliches Personal, ausnahmslos!!
Van buiten mooi oud hotel, van binnen up to date qua voorzieningen en comfort.
